Is it just my eyes, or does the broadcast of outdoor hd seem a bit degraded? Parang malabo yung logo ng outdoor hd. It seems like just a really good digital broadcast of an sd channel...

Oo nga po outdoor channel loses its HD quality, is it the consequence of adding HBO signature HD LOL!

hi guys got HBO signature for 1 hour then.*poof* disappeared leaving hbo hits but no more signature. Anyone experiencing the same thing?

hehe buti nga hindi tinagal un outdoor hehe baka tapos na un contract nila sa cinemax buti nga pinalitan , dati un sa History HD at BIO tinangal nalang nila bigla whahah dame nagalit na subscriber 1 na ko dun ngaun they learn to their mistake, nag ads sila na mawawala na un channel and they replace it

Well that's it for me. Looking at outdoor channel right now, there is no way in hell that this garbage could be called HD.

Yo Cignal, remove outdoor channel as one of the channels youve listed as HD. This is misleading to consumers.

In my opinion, as HBO signature HD is not listed on Lyngsat line-up http://www.lyngsat.com/packages/cignal.html

Maybe the slot for Outdoor HD was temporarily given to HBO signature HD, any inputs sir Pentium regarding these?

Not an opinion, but a speculation:
SES-7 had no vacant KU transponders for Cignal. Hence, they squeeze more HD channel by using different compression, which in turn degrades the quality of some channels. After the PPV, the Outdoor channel will return to it's "original" quality..

PPV is off now sir why is Outdoor still degraded? Maybe HBO signature HD has no slot in SES-7 KU transponder that's why we will not see the original quality of Outdoor HD

Yup.. maybe my speculation is wrong about the PPV. But I bet those channels that sir Pentium "announced" won't be added in the line-up unless Cignal activates a new KU transponder.

Yes sir it's disappointing, HD channels are being degraded, like colours HD it doesn't even have a quality of a 720P resolution and yet they are calling it HD???

degrading normally happens when they make channel changes.
as observed in previous occasions when they added new channels.
they will make adjustments to it.

as for the new channels... I have updated it last month.
per info, it will be SOON. not likely before the year ends.
they only made hbo hits due to the end contract of cinemax

Cignal's way of finding out if their signal had not been pirated.. Ex. A Cignal rep suddenly notices that the cable channel he/she was watching suddendly displays those numbers, he/she then had to report it to Cignal for blocking.. Force(?) ID

Hi, can anyone recommend a replacement power supply for the pace box? (I think the model is DS830NPT). It doesn't power up the box anymore. I thought it's the box but I tried replacing it with the one from my other box, and it works.

you can get one same type from your local dealer
i believe it is 350 only

confirmed no new channels until end of this year, new ones by early next year though.

I'm just thinking if cignal will take off the SD counterpart of an HD channel in a certain plan, would it be having any changes in the resolution? Is that affecting the compression of channels?

@skooter: yep, more defined now per my observation as well.

@naphster: No, it is beamed separately and does not effect the other channel. it is more related to the filtering and bandwidth limitation.

good morning brothers. just wondering kung may nakagawa na neto sa inyo: i was trying to use my galaxy note 3 (Peel Smart Remote App) as a remote to control my Cignal STB, kaso di gumagana, nasa list ng app ang Cignal as a provider as well as ung STB name na "Pace'' (i even tried the "Cignal" STB option) kaso di pa rin gumana, hopefully we can figure this one out, tingin ko maraming matutuwa neto pag na pagana natin. thanks in advance.
