Only gripes so far are the signal loss during heavy rain and the poor quality of the broadcast of the Lopez channels And I hope Cignal can come up with a news channel at par with Skycable's ANC. The Hyper Sports channel also needs improvement.

Yes yun lang napuna ka - signal loss during heavy rain and typhoon. Other than that, I'd say OK naman ang Cignal. May PBA HD? Great!! But I'm happy with my SKY naman so far.

^ minsan ko lang na encounter yung signla loss during heavy rains. If meron dati mabilis lang.

Pero kahapon while watching NBA game 1, bwiset na bwiset ako kse laging nawawala signal. on and off. kahapon lang to ha. exacto pa sa NBA game 1 habang close fight! Nung nag on panalo na Spurs buti na lang :-).

That's the only downside of a satellite dish. Signal at times get unreliable.

Thanks for the tip, sir. Oo nga, quality of the Channel 2 feed is better. Di ko na nga pinapansin ang Channel 2 because I've been assuming it's still blurry. Yung Channel 23 na lang ang pangit. Hope they fix it before the start of the UAAP MBB season.

PPV na ata sir ang PBA HD sa Cignal. For a while it was free.

I use an HDMI splitter to output the signal to my main and secondary TVs. Bought the splitter in CDR king (1 to 2), but one of them went dead after a few months (due to heat from one of my components).

As for the HDMI cable, only found 5m long cables in HDMI. Have one 30m and another 50m long, but I had to buy them from Amazon (for around 20USD each). Beats the price from a local store at 6k.

What is disappointing is that the advertised Dolby Digital Plus Audio.
Does any of Cignal's engineers/technicians no what Dolby Digital sounds like?
My decoder/amplifier can recognize the audio signal as Dolby, but why the hell is the speech audio leaking on all channels! This should be confined to the center speaker.

Ok, Cignal is actively marketing that they offer Dolby Digital and Dolby Digital Plus. But if you watch HBO for example, My AVR Can detect the 5.1 audio or Dolby Digital, but the actual sound is not 5.1. Its not 5.1 if you hear the movie dialogue on all 5 channels, including the rear surround speakers. This is the case on all their HD channels.

On channels offering Dolby Digital Plus, again my AVR can recognize the signal from the stb as Dolby Digital Plus, but this time, there are no dialogue on the two rear surround speakers, but the dialogue can be heard on the 3 front channels.

I have JBL speakers and a harman kardon avr780

LOL un mga channel na Dolby digital Plus sa aking is Stereo Output , pero un iba channel na Dolby is ok 5.1, sawa na ako magcomplait sa kanila hehe

Kix sometimes play asian movies with original language. We need subtitles to understand the movie. Try watching that channel and let me know what you think
