Anybody have info regarding this? I was talking to someone yesterday and he mentioned that there is this thing called "balikbayan privileges" where you can bring in a hdtv and just pay 2% tax. Just declare everything..He said he knew someone who did this. Bringing in a latest Sony xbr 52 inch with free bluray home theater for probably just around 150 thousand pesos. With so much package deals in america, lots of free stuff, man this might be an awesome deal, of course meron handling risk lang. Is the 2% for real?
