sir yong mga speakers kasi ear level yan pag nagka-upo na sa sofa. nakalagay doon sa manual na mganda daw kung ear level yong mga speakers? okay lang ba kung ibaba ko pa?

tama, ear level esp the tweeter. wag mo na baguhin ang level ng main speakers mo kung ganun but you can lower pa your center a bit if you like lang naman to align the lcd base with the shelves. try mo rin layuan pa ng konti ang pagitan ng 2 mains.

ang importante, relax ka habang nanunood. with your viewing distance, imo, malaking bagay na ang 4" na adjustment.

kung minsan o madalas, nadadaig tayo ng excitement at nakakaligtaan na ang tunay ng purpose ng setup natin. marami dyan, di baleng mapagod ang mga mata at mangawit ang leeg basta malaki ang screen. totoo nga na WOW pero in the end, kalusugan o ang katawan pa rin natin ang mahalaga.

so relax and settle sa tamang-tama lang.

hello mga sir. took really in consideration all your opinions and suggestions.

@iiinas, nahirapan ako sa pag set-up ng PJ, tsaka di rin nga sya HD. had to use key stoning.
@praktikal tama po kayo sir , overkill nga yong PJ.

decided to return the PJ kasi ang sakit sa mata at sa ulo. yong patungan was a problem as well masyadong mataas. buti pumayag yong binilihan ko ng PJ, got a new Samsung BD player(model BD-P1580) and optical cable instead. now i can maximize the potential of my 40"LCD TV and HTiB. salamat po sa lahat ng inputs nyo. buti na lang may pinoydvd.

congrats sa nangyari. madalas kase naooverwhelm tayo sa husay ng bigscreen esp sa showroom pero sa madalas saglit ka lang naman manood dun e, di ba? so ang tanong na dapat malaman ng newbies, "tatagal kaya ako?"

ingatan ang mga mata. ganun din ang mga tenga. marami akong nakakasabay sa elevator na naririnig ko ang music sa earphone. karamihan, manhid na sa malakas na volume at di kalaunan ay masisira na ang eardrums nila.

good decision, if you do not enjoy the set-up then something is wrong, getting a big screen is for us to be immersed into the movie we are viewing, but does not mean we should get a headache too. i fully agree with sir praktikal. ayos yan. enjoy mo muna yung set up mo ngayon, i feel it will give you lots of enjoyment before the next itch comes.

sigh, buti nalang nasa western country ka which has very good return policy. if you are in the philippines, medyo may issue yan.

but of course may mga sellers din naman dito na reasonable. but iba talaga ang western countries, no questions ask talaga basta within the period allowed.

salamat sa lahat.

just a little update. yong binili ko na Samsung Bd player binalik ko kasi tumitigil yong video tapos nag-hu-hung na sya. i brought it back nd it was replaced by the same model. after 1 week ganon na naman so i decided to get another unit but this time no more samsung. SONY - BDPS 350 B. nag-dagdag lang ako ng .90cents. mas satisfied ako sa features nito at mas madami kesa doon sa Samsung BD-P1580.
may naka experience din ba ng ganito sa inyo sa samsung BD-P1580 parang factory defect kasi 2 unit pareho naging problema. ingat-ingat na din mga tsong.

salamat sir! yong carpet na kasi pinaka madali na way na naisip ko. kesa mag masilya at magpinta pa ako ng wall. maganda pati yong carpet tile na nabili ko kasi buong surface nya sa likod may pangdikit di tulad ng iba na parang stripes lang ang pang dikit.

sir alvinh pinipiglian ko nga sarili ko bumisita dito sa pinoydvd and nagkakasakit ako at nangangati. pero for the mean time enjoy ko muna what i have. pag nag kabahay na kami for sure i´ll have a dedicated HT in the basement. hahaha.

Naku...too late. There's no turning back brader. Yan na nga ang mga symptoms...ganyang ganyan before you get the urge. Turn off your computer and never log back in...otherwise...hahahaha.

Tama yan. Enjoy you rig bro! At the end of the day, that is what matters the most. Your level of enjoyment will reach a certain plateau at some point..you'll know when it is time to swap a few things here and there in moderation. And with the experiences and knowledge of our fellow enthusiasts here, it will be an exciting journey.

borrowed video/lcd calibrator(tama ba) from a friend. bluray sya na pang calibrate. buti na lang nag calibrate ako, ang linaw lalo ngayon. i watched troy(troja) afterwards,napansinko sa umpisa yon mga langaw na lumilipad doon sa bangkay. napanood ko na yon dati pero di ko napansin yon. sa mga di pa nag calibrate, please do so to maximize your plasma, lcd and PJ.
