TEAC Upscaling DVD player
« on: Jun 29, 2009 at 04:19 PM »
I was looking for a cheap upscaling DVD player that has 5.1analog out and can read DIVX through USB , when a sales representative from western showed me the TEAC 3300HD.
Php 3600.00 only.

Anybody knows anything about this?

Though TEAC is a known brand. i haven't found any info on the net.

am not sure about this upscaling model. What is have is an older DVD player DV3800K i thinks.

The downside with TEAC DVD player is that its not programmable with some universal remotes i know (Sony, Yamaha remote from receiver, even those generic ones)... so pag nasira ang remote, ang hirap mag navigate sa DVD.

Other than that, its a good player. It plays most discs i have.

does it plays most discs? durable enough to last a couple of years? how does it compare with pioneer, sony, etc. in terms of picture quality?
