I also believe that somehow, somewhere that this fight is fixed. Don't get me wrong, never been an Aldo fan, but Aldo is a great fighter. He can take a hard shot, he's not careless. Even Wanderlei Silva can tell that fixed fights really does happen. IMHO.

^Aldo cried after the loss. Mahirap gawin yan if hindi ka soup drama actor. After 10 years of unbeaten UFC fights, ganun lang ka simple ibigay ni Aldo ung world-championship belt nya? He could take hard shots but he hasnt faced a much harder puncher than Conor...

when a fighter goes down like that i cant think of it being a fixed fight
thats my opinion as well though i respect your own opinion sir

ive seen CAIN Beaten by JDS in a matter of 1min was hit by one punch
when you trade punches and you were hit that doesnt mean your careless

Aldo is just being himself - relentless in the 1st & 2nd round and after that gassed out and counter punch or kick nalang. He was on attack mode just like on his previous fights, but he was caught by a 1-punch finisher.

yes same aldo may chance pa naman bumalik bata pa eh
actually talo ako sa pusta kay aldo kasi ako nakapusta early of this year pa nung sa unang fight na nagwithdraw si aldo then i saw conor fight mendez was wanting to withdraw ung pusta kaya lang nhihiya na ako sa tropa ko haha

I respect all of your opinions. But ayun nga like what I've said, somehow and somewhere lang, not totally.. I guess this thinking of mine is part of when you are contemplating about the loss of a long-time champ. Kudos to McGregor..again, great for the sport.

i doubt na fixed yung kay aldo. Would aldo agree to lose in 13 seconds? heck no! If fixed iyan he would probably agree to lose in a decision.

natural for a portion of sports fans to assign fixing when an odds-on favorite loses [seemingly] without a fight.

tuwing matatalo ang chicago bulls ng utah jazz noon, sasabihin nilaglag, nilaglag, nilaglag ni jordan.
ang totoo lang yata na fix noon yung kay mon fernandez, pero di pa rin naman sya napagmulta o ano man. nanalo pa sya sa kaso.

if i was aldo, and im agreeing to a fix, i wont be okay to be being punched on the face like that.

Hindi fix yung kay Mon Fernandez. Bigla lang nag-iiba pulso ng mga freethrows nya kapag crunchtime.

O kaya biglang nawawala porma ng elegant shot nya kapag kailangan nila umiskor.

Nice angle. Kita mo talaga dito that McGregor's loss was no fluke. The moment Aldo moved forward, Conor moved to the right while throwing an excellently-timed left hook that landed perfectly. Catlike reflexes. Insane precision. Unreal.

but aldo was out and has no guard. compared to weidman na andun pa rin yung depensa niya kahit bugbog na.

I know. I'm not contesting it. I just pointed out that the ref looked really quick in ending the fight, hence the fixing issue.

Why wouldnt the ref stop it?! Tirik na yung mata at laying flat na! I respect your opinion about possible fixes in sports games but you guys thinking this one was fixed should seriously drop it na.

Agreed. Compared to Herb in the other fight, Big John did extremely well in preventing unnecessary damage to Aldo.

Before the slow-mo replay, all I saw was Aldo's left hitting Mcgregor hard on the face but then he was the one who fell down and got hammered twice. I was like - was happened?

I think UFC should think about possible rule changes to prevent this very short fight on a championship bout - as in bawal matalo on the 1st 30 secs. Perhaps tapos agad ang round if a fighter gets mauled but meron pang 2nd round to recover. I don't know - hindi sulit sa naghintay all night kung ganito kabilis.

Kaya pala the 1st upload of the main event was only like 35MB - I thought it was a joke or an erroneous upload - it was the whole fight na pala. hehe

@Clondalkin I understand your point when you say na hindi sulit because the fight was short. However, there's a reason why mma fights are stopped when you're out and that is to prevent more brain damage to the fighters.
I'm pretty sure the fighters would also want to keep a little of their brains functioning when they decide to hang it up.
