^ And those big middleweights (rockhold, weidman, jacare, romero) will destroy mcg. I think hanggang lightweight lang pwede si connor. Heard joe rogan saying that the only reason they fought at welterweight is because they couldnt make weight. So maybe medyo out of shape si mcg kaya nag gas out.

What I heard in the commentary was something to this effect: "... They're fighting at welterweight but what they did is simply not to cut weight for the weight-in like they normally do."
Then the commentator went on to discuss the negative effects of weight cutting just to make the weight and then trying hard to hydrate in the 24 hrs before the fight. He also talk about how other fighters might learn from the example of mcg if he was successful in the fight.

So I think mcg was actually in the best of shape. Note the comment also of the commentator that cardio was not an issue for both fighters.

Mukhang hindi naman gas out si Conor sa laban. Ang napansin ko, parang groge na sya so he went for a take down, dahil kung hindi, malamang na KO sya.

should have been frankie vs conor for the FW title. conor-nate for a no-bearing welterweight bout is the rematch that nobody needs.

and why should there be an interim FW title when the current FW champion is active and physically able to fight? at the very least they should have had conor vacate the FW title and let frankie and aldo fight for it.
