I am inviting everyone who bought AVision TV to post their feedbacks on this thread.
The full HDTV 42" 42AL69 delivers great picture. It is comparable to Panasonic 42LZ80. It is also cost effective!
The AVision TVs are on display at the shop. I am inviting you all to check them out and post your impression here. :D

At present, the biggest size is 42", but I am sure the Supplier will surely introduce big size also. AVison has now in the market 22", 25" ,32", and full hd 42". Will keep you posted once the other sizes are available. :D

The trade name and logo of AVision LCD TV and that of projector product are the identical, but I just wonder why website has no LCD TV. Maybe the website is still not updated. :o

i saw this kanina sir vic sa shop nyo...i was impressed kasi may parang "motion flow" sya...although when we checked out the remote and tried to turn it off (with the help of your very kind and accomodating staff), we couldn't find a way to turn it off...
although my real reason of going there was to check out the s10 (out of stocks daw) and check the availability of the G11...

Have you done a demo on it yet?
Saw a Philips Cinema 21:9 56PFL9954H/12 during my visit at Malaysia AV Show last July. The picture is just as good as other Philip LCD TVs. The only wow factor is that it's 21:9 aspect ratio.

Is this Brand Offers a 120Hz refresh rate? if it does, then I'll take one. Its the cheapest price I ever seen so far. Its so hard to find 120Hz LCD here in the Philippines. Those only with 32" above offers 120Hz here in the Philippines. I will only going to use it for PC gaming, do you recommend this LCD for PC gaming?

Recently, I chanced upon this model during my NMT player hunting. Using this model for testing the NMT unit (mkv files in 720p) I was impressed with the upscalled PQ which is smooth. Certain scenes appear to be "floating" aka "pop-out" effect. I like it! :o
As my intention was testing the NMT unit, hence my attention was focus on the media player rather than on the LCD. I'll try to visit the store again to do some testing using 1080p sources. :)

During the weekend, I revisited a AV store & tested the 42AL69 with some 720p & 1080p materials. With limited time, here are some of my personal observations:
The positives first. It's a pleasure to view this HD LCD esp with 1080p source. I'm pleased to say even under normal bright lighting condition in the store, its black level is really deep! So black that it appears like the LCD black frame. For 720p material, it is upscaled to the display native resolution 1080p resulting in satisfactory PQ. With 1080p, this is where the LCD PQ shines!
This LCD has good anti-judder but resulting in movies "film-like" become "video-like" (it looks more true-to-life). Some folks may not like this esp for Hollywood films. Such "video-like" effects will suit nature documentary e.g. Planet Earth, etc. I didn't check if this feature can be turn off/on.
So far the only negative I notice is though the unit refresh rate is at 120Hz, while playing fast scenes it suffers motion-blur. Yes, at fast action scenes it will become more obvious.
Overall, I still like this LCD very much though it's not perfect. At such price level, it's easier to overlook & forgive some of the inherited weaknesses. :)

Congrat bro for your new purchase! I'm sure you will enjoy it for many years to come. ;)
I'm using a Cinema Tube NMT. Currently, there is no NMT that can be forced to output at 120Hz. The most common is 720p or 1080p/60Hz. The 120Hz I was referring is the AVision LCD refresh rate, not from the NMT player.
*The higher refresh rate 120Hz is meant to reduce motion blur & judder.

We still do not have media player that support 120HZ, but I do believe this issue has been taken by the media player manufacturing companies. I am sure sooner there will be a firmware update to support 120Hz. :)

Well that settles it. Maybe there's compatibility issue between the TV with 120Hz refresh rate and the player that can only output 60Hz. :) Thanks PCHIN and E-REPLY.

Both Avision and Ovation 32" have almost same quality picture. However, for 42" size, Avision comes out better color. And since Avision has 120hz motion flow feature, it delivers very smooth picture without blur on fast motion movie. :)

Went into Sights and Sounds planning to get the LG LH35, came out with the 2 AVisions for 1 deal! Great service by the staff, even though it took us around 30 minutes deciding between the LG and AVision, then deciding between the 42 and 32, then fussing over the payment scheme. Quite happy so far, the 19 inch works great as a PC monitor, while the 32 inch looks great playing DVDs and downloaded shows (via HDMI on my laptop or our DVD's USB reader). Of course, in comparison to the other branded LED/Plasma TVs in the shop, it's picture quality can't really compete. But back in our condo it blows our old CRT and smaller LCD monitor away!

How much is the 26" if cash? Based on the ad, am I correct to assume that only the 42" is full hd and 120hz? About the USB playability, can it play xvid files or jpeg and mp3s lang?

120Hz or 60HZ is motion interpolation rate. This motion interpolation is sometimes call motion-flow. Motion-flow is a process that is basically adding or inserting new frames between standard movie frames. This technology is used to correct visual artifact known as judder, perceived as "jumpiness" in the picture. :D

Toshiba 32av700 has TV signal booster that enhances TV reception. It also has better contrast that renders very good deep black color. Since the AVision is P17K. while 32AV700 is P19K, I prefer Toshiba over AVision because of better picture and value for money. :D

i tried searching for how to turn on and off this featue on the tv's menu but i cant seem to find it.

Avision 42AL69 Owners, Buyers, ans Sellers: Please read!
Guys, i just need to give this feedback regarding my previous questions regarding the Avision 42AL69's 120hz motion flow feature.
Last Sept 11, 2010, i bought the said model from electronics botique park square. I have done my research regarding this model and i was quite happy to hear that a lot of people were quite pleased with the picture quality, the 120hz motion flow feature and the incredible price of this unit. Cred card price was 40500 straight payment with free 22 inch avision lcd tv
I brought the unit home and tested it out with some PS3 and Xbox 360 games via hdmi and a few dvd movies via component cable.
True enough, i enjoyed my games and movies in true 1080p spleandor. I then began looking for the feature to turn on the 120hz motion flow. I could not find it.
So began my reading and questions in this forums and others.
I apparently was instructed to access the 'mjc' option from the menu: menu > picture > enhanced setting > mjc.
to my surprise, wala talaga syang MJC.
this went on for days, i mustve gone through every menu option and patiently waited for feedback re: my forum posts regarding this matter.
about 4 days after buying th TV, i then decided to call the distributor (Logitech Marketing) since i knew that if ever this TV had issues, it was them who was going to replace it and not electronics botique.
There were several phonecalls made, mainly to coordinate the arrival of their technician to check my lcd. The next day, i received a call from technician...
He had confirmed the "newer" releases of the 42al69 were only 1080p 60hz !!!!! and not 1080p 120hz -> which was necessary to enable the motion flow feature of the tv.
I naturally expressed my frustration (politely of course)
I paid for something that was advertised and verbally confirmed to me by the sellers and distributors to have certain features oonly to find out that it didnt! That was false advertisement and misleading consumers!
To make a long story short Logitech and Electronics botique coordinated with each other to replace the unit for me.
exactly a week after i bought the unit, i returned it to the parksquare branch and had to go to the electronics botique robinsons malate branch to claim the unit (which was confirmed to still be the 120hz model).
Just need to say this... yes, ako lang mag isa nag karga sa kotse nung 42 inch lcd -> all this with an injured left hand (8stiches due to an accident with a knife) in fairness the staff bothe from park square and malate were kind enough to assist me in loading and unloading the TV.
So what is the moral of all this?
I am not telling you guys not to buy this TV, as by all means it delivers good full HD picture quality (yes, kahit yung 60hz na unit swabe pa rin) at a good price. wag lang kayo umasa sa internal speakers because they are literally crap - as most speakers are for generic lcds.
Buyers: Check if you are indeed getting the 120hz model, you can check this pag meron syang MJC option sa enhanced settings from the picture menu: (menu > picture > enhanced setting > mjc)
Sellers/Retailers: Please check your current stocks and ensure that you are indeed carrying the 120hz model. if you are carrying the 60hz models, please make necessary revisions to the specs you show customers and set necessary expectations.
I am not pointing fingers here as to who is to blame... Electronics botique should have confirmed the specs of the LCD, Logitech should have confirmed this with their retailers, and avision should have confirmed this with logitech.
i just hope future buyers of this TV (which is still a great buy in my opinion) learn from my experience.

We don't know if the AVision will still come out with 120hz feature. At the moment, AVision had discontinued the 120hz on all 42".
We have the last 2 units of 120HZ AVision. I suggest you get this TV while the supply is still available. :D

Help! I bought my Avision 42" AL69 LCD last September 18, 2010 (Saturday) in Avision Tutuban Mall. I opened it at the store and tested it. It was ok, working in good condition.

Sir wala na po ang logitech marketing ng 42" with 120Hz True Motion. Ung dealer po na nabilhan ko. Pumayag naman na refund ko yung iba. Ung 22" LCD lang kunin ko. The rest of the payment pwede ibalik sakin this week.

2. Bro dont email them, di ka sasagutin nyan, Tawagan mo yung number nung logitech marketing and explain your side of the story. I was lucky to get mkine replaced agad by electronics botique through coordination with logitech kasi may stocks pa sila nung 120hz nung time na yon and, the tv was bare with me for a week and the specs they showed me DID SAY 120hz and not 60hz. pasok pa ako dun sa 1 week replacement warranty plus i would have been all over their asses with my lawyer cousin for false avertisement and misleading consumers if ever they didnt replace or refund.
3. next time, buy at SnS!!! You get what you pay for and more! there are just some things that money cant buy! like good customer sevice and care and even better after sales service!

You won't see them frown in case they have customers that explicitly say that they won't buy.. They will still accomodate their "testing" needs. :)
Wala akong alam na shop na ganun..
In case they don't bag a sale that day, the potential customer would return another day or at the very least, word of mouth re the excellent customer service and friends of friends would buy from them.. :)

I did everything pero too late na talaga. Wala na talaga ako mahanap may 120hz.
I'm very sad to say na wala na talaga ako magagawa. I really felt so bad, disappointed, and frustrated. But now I'm resigned in accepting my case already. Tama ka nga sir sonofkratos. Dapat talaga tawag kasi hindi naman nag reply sa email.
My fault was I trusted in their product advertisement too much which really I believe is not wrong. Pag bili ko po nito lahat ko naman tinesting (on, play movie, etc) EXCEPT 120hz MJC feature.
Sights and Sounds na talaga sa sunod. Doon ko naman talaga ito unang nakita. Nagkataon lang pag punta namin sa Tutuban meron naman dun, so sabi ko kahit doon na. Sobra ko kasing excited that day. Just imagine how much excitement I felt. My disappointment and frustration is proportional to that. Nasa Bicol ako ngayon pero noong nakaraang araw. Nag long distance pa ako sa napaka daming dealer stores pero wala na talaga available with 120Hz.
It's still a good buy pero siyempre hindi na meet ang original expectation ko. Ang goal ko ngayon ay mag trabaho ng sobra para makabili sa SNS ng TV in the future. Hopefully 55" 3D LED na. haha Nangagarap na ako ng maganda at sigurado para hindi na mga AVision or kung ano pa. Mga branded na! hahaha
Nakakafrustrate pa din talaga.

Toshiba is a better option if you are after good TV reception. The signal booster feature of this TV can enhance your TV broadcast viewing, even if the TV is connected with a simple aerial antenna. :D
Nevertheless, AVision is also a performing TV. The down side is AVision is just a China Manufacturer TV.

I went to Electronics Boutique festival Mall Alabang and asked if they still had the Avision with 120hz and they said Logitech Marketing still has 1 unit left but EB had it priced at 41k because of the rarity. They offered to have it reserved but I hesitated because I heard from Sir Vic that there are no more of these. I trust his word more than the sales guy at EB. In any case, if it's true, then I guess its up for grabs to those who are willing to shell out for the price.

The delivery charge to Bulacan is P3K. Since the TV can fit on a taxi, instead of having the TV delivered, you may want to bring home the TV on a taxi. :D

Hehe... Please check the warranty certificate. Our Toshiba and Panasonic have local Phil. warranty certificate. Others sell cheaper price but no official warranty certificate.
Toshiba grey unit is just P500. difference. I don't think it's worth the risk to buy cheaper price at P17500.
We have 32C10 with Panasonic Phil. warranty at P17500. :)

Bilhin mo na! Basta promo package pa rin. Pero suggest you test it thoroughly. Kung may sira yan, wala nang ibang 120Hz na ipapamalit dyan.

Mga peeps share ko lang... kung meron kayong makukuhang may 120hz na avision 42", grab the oppurtunity na... ung Avision ko lapit na mag 1 yr sa july pero sobrang ganda pa rin nung screen.. lalo na pag naka 120hz ung movies... kahit regular cable lalo na ung etc sa destiny cable ex. gossip girl... nagiging parang video like or hd ung palabas... feeling ko baka may break in period lang ung tv... ngayon sobrang smooth na and wala ng judder pag naka 120hz... gabi gabi akong napapadaan sa show room ng megamall and always pinapakita ung led tv w/ 240hz and i always compare with the same movie (GI joe... startrek...) courtesy ng xtreamer pag dating sa bahay sobrang walang pinagkaiba... i had the tv for just 36k and those tv cost like 100k++ . so if your having second thoughts of getting the tv... don't!!!! SULIT po ito

AVison 42" 42AL69 of 60hz is still available at P28K. This TV is covered by local Logitech Distributor with a year warranty. In the event that the TV broke down, the owner can call up Logitech for home-service. Sights and Sounds can also assist you in transporting the TV for repair. :D

My parents purchased the AVision 32AL69 yesterday at SnS. Since wala ng stocks, yung display unit na ang inalok sa amin ni Jhon Jhon at binigyan pa kami ng discount. :D
Pagdating sa bahay, kabit agad. Ang problema walang makuhang cable channel except for Animax at yung dw-tv. May mali ba sa connection? Bale tinanggal lang kasi sa lumang CRT tv yung coaxial cable with F-connector tapos nilipat lang din directly sa antenna port ng AVision. Naka set na din sa 'Cable' yung RF input, pero walang difference kahit nasa 'Air.' Need advice please. TIA. :-[
Update: Tried using a basic indoor antenna na din, no signal naman lumalabas. Hay... Nagpa-schedule nalang ako para puntahan ng technician.

It actually is a great TV! been using my avision 42al69 120hz for 1 year and 5 months now. Happy with PQ, the motion flow, the number of inputs. mejo mahina nga lang internal audio but all in all, this is a very good tv.
This 46" LED TV 46K20 is just a demon taunting me to sell my 42al69 120hz to be able to upgrade to it! LoL!

I'm not an expert but I'll try my best to give you my perspective of this unit.
Note: I've been using the 46" mostly as the wife is on the 32" and can't give as much review.
Price offered by SnS for a 46" LED bulked w/ a 32" LED can't be beaten (both Avision).
The built in media player has played almost all movie files that I've tried. If I am not mistaken, 9 out of 10 .mkv files were played without a problem. Not sure why one or two of my .mkv files were not played. But take note that this TV won't produce dts sound of mkv files. But if you have a separate media player or HT setup then you won't have any problems. NOTE: the 32" built in media player won't play my mkv files when I plugged in my EHD. It only read the music files I've stored there. Also, the interface of the media player has two display settings - blue and blacksh red.
Gaming. This unit has no game mode. Bulk of the hours spent on this tv was for PS3 gaming. I have not let a day pass that I didnt play since I got this unit (except when out of town). Have re-played Crysis 2, Uncharted 3, RDR, Arkham City and 2k11 in between. I am happy with it. Though there were times when I played 2k11 that delays were encountered. Encountered this 2-3 times. Not sure if it was because of long hours of gaming.
Picture quality for HD files are good but of course not as good as the top brands but difference is not that compared to their low to mid level models. I personally wanted a large screen sized tv thats why i went for this.
TV. I am subscribed to SkyCable with 7 HD channels. No issues at all with program setting without the HD box. I had to do auto programming with the 32" for my wife. With one go, it automatically set our channels. PQ is not bad too. Formula 1 cars never looked that good in tv ;D
Connections - 3 HDMIs, 1 component, 1 USB, VGA, earphones and shoot can't remember the rest.
I've contacted their customer service just to test them out. They're based in Binondo. I called to ask if there were any latest software updates for the tv that I had. The techinician, Benny if I am not mistaken, was on not available when I called but I was asked for my contact number and was advised that a return call will be made. And after 10mins I did receive a call from Benny. He asked what model I got and what was my concern. He was very helpful and knew the product. So yes I did have a good experience.
So far I am enjoying this unit. Of course, things like "until when will this last" is at the back of my mind since this is not one of the premiere brands out there. But unless I experience it, thats the only time I'll have a say on it ;)

I think you can have peace of mind in this department. My 42al69 (120hz) has been with me since September 2010 and i have no issues with it do far.
The only issue i have is the itch to sell and upgrade to the model you currently have! :p
