I also asked a friend who knows how to use dvdshrink to make ma a backup of one of my DVDs w/o any other track except DTS and it also can be done.

Isa pa, pag nagpagawa kayo ng sarili nyong compilation, syempre magkakaroon din ako ng copy...parang yun nlang ang bayad hehehe kaya gusto ko din. Wala kc ako makitang magagandang title tulad ng hero dvd dito sa astroplus. Kaya kung meron kayo, magandang gawan ng compilation scenes yan.

Gawa ka pa isang compilation and package them in double disc or two single discs titled "blu-ray's HT demo discs vol 1 and 2" Maraming bibili niyan kung maidisplay sa Hi-Fi show. P499 each. He, he. ;D
I have those titles, Hero R1 w/ English, HOFD DTS-ES, etc. And just arrived yesterday fr. Hong Kong : Blade Trinity, Stealth DTS, Sahara, , Sin City, Kingdom of Heaven DTS, Underworld superbit, seven DTS-es, ANtZ (DTS), Hitchhikers guide & Resident Evil Apocalypse DTS-ES. ;D
I would love to have a compilation sampler of these DTS DVDs, need to watch em first though so I would know which chapter is good for LFE or Surrounds.

This is free but I require a payment for the materials I used in the productions such as 2 dvd blanks, double amaray case, label if you want to have it.
I did that too before, but later I got tired from opening each DVD and forwarding each to the best LFE & surrounds scenes to my guests. So I ended up getting 2 Demo disks ;D.bro san ako makakabile ng demo disc :'(
Actually , sobrang sulit sa akin mga demo disks, I have played them the most often among my collection. Like I said in another post, I use the loud LFE scenes in the demo disks as my stress reliever.. ;D

Back to the topic on best surrounds:
I tested the 1st few chapters o SE7EN, new line platinum series DTS-ES, last night while everyone was sleeping in the house. My cousin was right. It was indeed full of surround activity.
I once read that surrounds comprise of only 10% your HT experience. Not with this DVD, it was more of 60%! Almost all background noisess from nearby cars, thunder, talking in the background are all constantly active ( through the surround channels) the entire first few chapters I previewed and even on the intro credits! Talk about a surround experience! I wish they make all DVDs like this.
About the remaining titles on the wish list, maybe we should set a deadline if some others want to take the remaining 2 slots, baka kasi ma-drag ang project kakahintay sa iba. If after the deadline and hindi pa filled-in ang slots, tayo na lang ang magpuno. I guess dun sa ating mga naka-contribute na e kaya natin kumpletuhin yung list ourselves

I forgot to suggest, ipasok mo na rin yung THX optimizer (kaya ba?). Since the title of the project is ultimate HT companion or something. a simple THX optimizer would be of great value to the disk. Blu, the THX optimizer is in many of the THX certified disks from our project (sa special features).
If sir AV wants to get the raw version ok na din yun, the contents are bad anyway. We just wanna tweak the remaining disks for optimal viewing pleasure :D.

Blu-Ray, Had a great time with my son watching all three demo discs this weekend. THere were some navigation problems but they disappeared on second watching. For sure there were no skipping or freezing which I'd consider more serious. There were only a few titles that I still don't have. And because of this demo, I think I just might run to Astro to get some of this, like Flight of The Phoenix, Kung Fu Hustle and Stealth. The distributors should pay you for promoting those titles. ;D At any rate, thanks for the all the effort for such a mega production value.

My wife bought me last night a copy (Home Cinema Choice issue 149 Dec 07) but there's no Free Demo Disc.True eh...Unfortunately I found out from the seller that our import issues would not come with the Free Demo Disc. Only certain countries daw will have the Free Demo Disc. :(
