I tell you dre..dai-ichi is under rated hi end speaker.

Pre, ang lupit naman ng tower mo. Ano ba ang bandwidth nyan? I agree with you that dai-ichis are underated speakers.

guys, maybe we could ask the megamall showroom if we could bring wharfedale speakers so that we could conclusively compare the sound quality.

was in image last thursday and the daichi guys are demonstrating the new dtx speakers. bs at 5400 and the ctr at 4500. hayop sa ganda ang tunog. para yatang puede mong i compare sa monitor audio sa bass. they are exporting this in australia using the brand eross (?).

please reply and we could finalize the date.

the new book shelf speakers are the ef d50 selling at 5,400 per pair and the ef d55c as centerspeaker selling at 4,000.  i heard the ef d50 that can be compared to high end speakers like monitor audio.

theman,
You're talking about the EFD series pala. I've already heard these speakers and their quality and built are definitely for export. As I posted before this EFD series is better than the Wharfedale Diamond...peace to wharfe owners, that is just my opinion.  ;) :D ;D

i called up jennifer and ito daw ang mga presyo ng mga sumosunod:

EFD 60 tower (floorstander)- 15T  less 10%
EFD 55 SC      (Bookshelf)    - 5.4T less 10%
EFD 50 CC                            - 4T    less 10%

mas mahal to kesa diamond series ng wharf. ano kaya mas ok in terms of performance?  ::)

Diamond 8.4 and 8.3 compared to EFD 60. mas ok yung performance ng EFD 60 mas mahal lang nga.

i am new at this hobby, but with what I have read regarding the performnace of the Daiichi Speakers, I am very much tempted to change my existing set-up.  Right now I have a Yamaha for my AVR and Bose speakers for Front, Rear and Center.  With the negative comments I have read in one of the treads regarding Bose speakers parang gusto ko na ito palitan ng Daiichi.  Will this be a wise decision? Please help... ??? ???

Advice is to audition... something good for others might not be good for you.  ;)

Presars, tnx for the advice, I will go to Megamall Daiichi and audition some of their models.  will it be critical to tell them the model of my AVR and the size of the room?  I was at Shangrilla last saturday in one of the HT shops there to ask for a sub and people there are not that accomodating, they will always answer "depende sa size of room".  sorry for my questions as I mentioned Iam new at this.  Thanks again.

Hi Von,

If you are going to audition those speakers from dai-ichi showroom, please do audition also your present bose speaker at their own showroom.

Bose is a nice speaker also at para maging fair ang laban, dapat sa parehong room mo sila marinig, not just comparing your setup sa showroom nang dai-ichi, tagilid ang bose mo kasi acoustic na ang room nila dun. Maraming negative comments sa bose kasi masyadong mataas ang presyo nila at makakakuha ka na nang mas magandang speaker gaya nang mission or even B&W with that price.

Your comparing a bose to dai-ichi, pero pag sinabi mong sa mission ka nate-temp...no comment na ako.
Mahirap maniwala sa sabi-sabi...

the bose you have is adequate for ht, you might just want to get the dai-ichi sub to aid the acoustimass sub (if you have one) in the bass dept. no need to change the speakers.

if you will audition the Dai-ichi speakers at their Megamall showroom, also drop-by at Upscale Audio (1 or 2 shops away from Dai-ichi) and try to audition the Mission speakers. Don’t worry people at Upscale are very nice.

von,i have bose satellite speakers too,
they sound good to my ear naman...
i am changing my (acoustimass5 series2) sub,
kasi i need an active sub for my kenwood
receiver. i plan to buy DTX 4.10 sana or the
US Audio 8" sub...

i agree with them, depende rin siguro sa setup,
and sa personal preferences mo sa sound.

Daiichi fans,

may product display sa lobby ng ParkSquare 1 for Daichi Products: US Audio, DTX, etc.

Medyo magaganda yung mga nakadisplay.. mid to high-end level.. its worth the look.
