Hello!
This is my first time in this forum since yesterday, the same day I ordered mine @ Ansons Link Ayala (21k straight cash, and just 30mins after the Greenbelt 5 shooting :-D). I was eying a Toshiba Regza before (forgot the model number) and and LG (also forgot but has 60000:1 contrast ratio) but the price is what really sold me. My main concerns before buying an HDTV was:
1. IPS panel
2. at least 15000:1 contrast ratio
As this will be my first HDTV, I was not really concerned with full HD as I am happy with even just 720p and the bonus of this model was the full 1080p24 capability via HDMI even if I don't own anything that uses that yet but might purchase a PS3 sometime before Christmas and you really cannot tell the difference with a 32 inch screen and was really lucky that I worked for a major TV company and had some training and background with HD programming.
Right now I really want to clarify somethings:
1. What is the main difference between the x10x series?
2. and the other TH-L32c10? Is it because the model is a c10x and has 20000:1 contrast ratio? Read at other forums that their c10 only has 10000:1
3. from what I have gathered:
-European c10 model has an Svideo, I checked the c10x and has none.
-American c10 models only could support 10000:1 and the c10x has 20000:1, but this link:
http://panasonic.net/avc/viera/asia/product/c_lcd.html does not give the full specs but the Singapore site has a different matter.
I know it is a bang for the buck TV, and I was only at G4 yesterday to buy some pants. Now I will have to wait until the 1st week of November to pick mine up and hope that someone gives a full review of this unit.
