Moviesheets, or coverwall is not available on R200 at this time, but i gave feedback to Egreat.
it does have a preview when you hover on a file.
YAMJ of Mede8er 500x provides an alternate interface to pick files, getting IMDB interformation, generating about.jpg and title covers but after sometime playing with it, balik ulit file list ako, same story even sa C200 ko    

Can the R200 display moviesheets?

@nogo, I believe WDLive hasn't addressed the issue yet w/ AAC vids, and w/ your setup sound may come out using your WDLive if you set audio to Stereo and not Digital.

As for your concern above, is your receiver capable of processing Dolby TrueHD and DTS MA? If it does, then you don't have a problem with bit-streaming HD Audio. In my case, my receiver is NOT capable of Dolby TrueHD and DTS MA, therefore, when I watch movies with Dolby TrueHD or DTS MA, it downstreams to Dolby and DTS core only.

Per specs:

TS Files Playback without Interval: Support TS,M2TS files playback without interval.

Ref: R200 product info as to VOB files, i would think may split second latency ang VOB(ripped) over TS(native), stickfighter tested it yata.

@RU9, are you using H1055 with internal disk or external USB disk? another reason for latency is the file load for the 2nd file, pero dapat saglit lang yan. I read there's a kaiboer model that supports internal disk pero yung interface is a USB2SATA so bagsak mo USB performance din. this can help explain the longer delay sa loading ng 2nd file.

I play these files on my H0155.

VTS_01_0.VOB
VTS_01_1.VOB

Problem is the gap when the player changes from  VTS_01_0.VOB to VTS_01_1.VOB.
It is really annoying. I was expecting this to be continous.


Does this nmt--R200 solve the problem?

I can always merge the files, but more files will kill your patience.

Several buyers who also had e8HD gave positive PQ/SQ feedback favoring R200 over measy e8HD, and just few hundred pesos difference nung unit, R200 na sila. Bilis gumalaw itong model na ito so if you are in the market for a 2nd one for the bedroom or guest room nyo, grab this while its available.

Just arrived are R200 (black) and is now with integrated wifi!(yours at @P6500).

I'm loving my R200 everyday...Been watching almost 3 movies everyday non-stop, di pa masyado umiinit. It's really fast considering i've connected 2 HDD one internal the other one via SATA and an external USB HDD...

i must say that im impressed with the picture quality of R200/s100. i played the old movie Tron 1982 version, without knowing na yung luma pala yung na play ko, without any idea kasi sa story and casts, after 15 mins ko lang nalaman that im playing a pretty old movie. even the old Jaws movie looks new and comparable sa mga latest movies.

ive connected my r200 pro to my mac, but the problem is I cant seem to delete some files and rename them too. also, it seems that the harddisk in "for read only".

you don't have to reformat the disk from NTFS to FAT32.
Doing so will limit the file size of your files to 2GB only.
A normal BD Rip ISO is about 40+GB and you will miss out on this if you do so.

I am also a Mac user and I just had to purchase Tuxera NTFS for Mac to allow me read and write access to NTFS HDDs.
Another option is the free SW NTFS 3G.

can you change ownership on the mac side? it should not be read only coz R200 needs that disk to be writeable.

if you have windows, same think make group "everyone" have read write rights.

in mac, is there a way to change ownership of the device/permissions? you may want to try that. or when mounting an NTFS, does it have presets to mount external drives as read only?

Unfortunately bro, it's a "Mac" thing that by default, it only accesses NTFS files as read only.
Thus the need for the SW that I mentioned to unlock NTFS capability.

Hello everyone! Happy egreat r200 pro owner here. Whole family enjoying this for many days now. Product is excellent and seller mr. Jim (toys4geeks) is really nice and easy to deal with. I highly recommend this nmt and this seller!

Encountered similar 'read only' problem and 'non permission' problem when trying to write to the hd from a dual boot macbook pro (snow leopard/win7 bootcamp). No problems though with a dual boot desktop pc (linux/xp).

Question:  the r200 pro can play my hd movies from my external wd hd when plugged thru the usb (own power) but when i take the wd hd out and  insert it to the r200 pro's bay or the additional sata connector at the back, i can't see any folder in it. Do u have any suggestions? I want to do this so i can save power. Thanks!

1. "no loader" will appear after boot up
2. missing internal hdd, sometimes detected, sometimes not,

R800 is on order basis only, using the chassis as that of the S800.
its the same as the R200-ii based on RTK1185 but with VFD display and SD card + USB slot in front.

R800 and R200-ii  both has the newer UI (red on black) just like the newer Egreats on S series. while it says it plays BDJ 1.0 for bluray most titles i've ripped are BDJ 1.1 and BDJ 2.0 so it can show BD full menu.
