the writers of this show are schitzos. one minute they write how loyal everyone is and the next minute, everyone is jumping ship. for a bunch of people who masterminded the death of roy harper, they can't seem to fathom the idea that oliver already has a plan in play even if he told them. roy after willing to give up his life for oliver, decides it's best that thea finds herself at this critical hour. the atom, well he is just a love slave of felicity who has extended his welcome. he will turn over his company to her so she can give it back to oliver. hopefully, he'll get his own show. maseo first helps oliver then doesn't then helps him then doesn't then helps him then doesn't. thank god he's dead as well. merlin, he's with them then he betrays them then he's with them and then betrays them. you'll see that he really did not betray oliver and it's all part of an elaborate (or is it implausible) plan to beat ra's al ghul in the finale.
the best case scenario is that the vile contains the real deal and everyone dies. then oliver kills ra's, gets back his company, trains a new team and finally calls himself the green arrow. of course thea will be speedy since that's her nickname, she knows how to handle bow and arrow and she already has a used suit. plus she's hot.
