merong new series ng speakers ang dai ichi..i dont remember the name..but its two tone,silver&black..ive auditioned it sa mega...mas mganda sounds sa DTX,cause they have much better drivers..the tower cost 5,600.reasonable,great quality speakers.. 8)

i auditioned this, yung may dual 6" drivers ata, it looks great, pero parang kulang sa highs (personal preference ko lang cguro) for me its not that smooth and warm sounding...pero thats just me...

MAKI,

I'm all for biwiring my 9.5Towers, but I'm kinda torn about my 9.5Center, if I should replace the metal binders with a thin wire(I read that somewhere here, just not sure which forum, though) or to biwire it. Help?

Thanks bro, although I'm still wondering what difference it would make if i-replace mo ang metal binders with thin wires. Pero I'm definitely biwiring them, today na! He he he.

Bisita ka kaya showroom nila, either sa Raon or sa Megamall, I'm sure marami kang makikita dun, and well within your price range. Maybe you could buy a pair that has side firing woofers. They have that too. Ganda nun, anlakas.

Possible, kasi the first time I saw it was about 2 years ago. And besides, even though I own a pair of DTX 9.5 towers and center and am very pleased with it, there's a lot of room for improvement, kasi I've seen older Daiichis that are better than the newer ones, so we all know that Daiichi can produce better products than their present line. I'm pretty excited about seeing new models from Daiichi, because they're very competitive, and phasing out some older models is proof of that. He he he.

I agree. I was about to get the DTX series of daichi when I was looking for  front speakers for my setup. I auditioned these speakers at Daichi showroom(mega) and noticed that they lack in highs and bass. So I tried auditioning other speakers and ended up with Wharf 8.4. Now I'm very satisfied with the highs, mids and bass of my setup.

The last time I visited daichi showroom, I saw their new models. I auditioned one of their new speakers and somehow, I find them very interesting.   :)  There's an improvement compare to the old DTX model I have heard.  I find their new models good and very affordable.  :) Right now, I'm planning to get a sub woofer for my setup. I might end up with the DTX 4.10.

Nice looking speakers.  Their designs have really come a long way since the 80s when i first came to know about the brand.

Question: Where to buy the cheapest DTX 9.5T? In Megamall the price is P5,000+, sa raon P3,800 lang.

Thanks.  8)

best seller ang DTX9.5 kaya malabo ma phaseout yan ngayon. saka nagkaroon na ng niche ang DTX, if so ever ma phaseout i think DTX pa rin ang name.

Where? Moses Aaron electronics, at 623 G. Puyat st., Quiapo. Tel. no. 735-4390. Look for Mike, ask for the additional 5% discount for mga SUKI, I got my DTX 9.5 Towers there for 3,635, my 9.5 Center for 1,615. Naglibot na ako, they have the lowest prices for Daiichi speakers. :) I don't think they'll phase out the brand too, old models cguro, not the brand.

Yup, pero actually, matagal na yan, mga 2 years na silang may website kaya lang nagkaproblema, that website is actually their 3rd yata. And marami pa silang products na hindi nakalagay dyan. Kaya after visiting the website, punta ng showroom. Ang saya! The site would also show their achievements, foreign affiliations, innovations, etc. Do you know that Daiichi built the subwoofer that holds the world record for a subwoofer with the highest SPL? Galing ng Pinoy no? :)

Sorry for the queston but I'm a newbie. Mukhang maganda kasi itong dtx madaming good reviews kaya i'm contemplating on buying one pero wala akong ampli o receiver pa. Thanks

Im sorry to say bro but you need an amplifier or a receiver to connect a speaker like DTX. This speaker accept high level input signal only from amplifier or receiver to produce sound. If your DVD player have 5.1 output only this output has low level output signal so it needs to amplify by an amplifier or receiver. There are DVD player that has built in amplifier but most of the time it is package with its own speaker system (sat & sub). :) Bro, it is better for you to buy an amplifier, say sakura or konzert. its only around 3,500. Good for music and ht. Decent sound for its price. :)

connect the audio out from your TV to the sub
then connect the speakers sa Sub's terminal

the sound will be amplify by the sub, then then crossover will pass the high freq to the speakers.

viola!!!  cheap 2.1
