I saw this monster 12" Elemental Dual Magnet Sub at Dai-Ichi in Megamall. Anybody already got this? As per the rep, you will be needing a minimun 1,000Watts to drive this monster. Priced at 18,000ph/@

holy goat!  ;D  you need a beast amp indeed to drive this monster. Kaya pala the rep told me if I were to use it in a car, only one amp can drive it...KICKER.  :o

I think you need a pro amp to handle this if you wish to use it in your HT.

I have this just rotting in my room because I cannot power it. Model is Elemental Designs 13Av.2, their flagship sub for car audio.

My problem is, the damn thing is dual 4-Ohm and needs about 1,300 Watts of power. Im am really out of luck finding plate amp that can give a power  like that. This beast really strained my muscles just carrying it by a few meters as it weighs about 59 lbs. Anybody can help me with the plate amp? I really wanted to make a sealed sub geared towards SQ out of this for my home audio setup. Thanks!

Euros are very easy to drive speakers, kayang-kaya ng denon 1907 mo yan but you have to audition euros and wharfedale speakers on your receiver first, then you'll decide on what's best for your taste ;)

why look for a plate amp ... why not look for rack-mount amp, the likes of behringer A500 or crown or Konzert or ...

Not now, I really would like to hear how it sounds.  :D

Plate amp has line inputs, gain control, cheaper(I think) and is easier to setup than rack mount amps. If ever I'll have to use the A500, I'll have to buy about 3 pieces, bridge it and deal with mess of wires. If each A500 cost 14K then it would be 42K for the amp alone(price of mid-level sub already). Besides, I do not know how to bridge amps and worries it will damage either the amps or the sub. Maybe you can help me with the bridging?  :D

Is this really practical to use for HT? Are you sure your neighbors won't be throwing stuff at your window? I remember playing loud music with my car and one of the neighbors got pissed and threw a banana peel at my windshield. Thank God it was just a banana peel!

HI. does anyone have feedback on these sr-20 models? can't seem to find any info on the web.. maybe someone has auditioned them.. sincerely appreciate it.. at 5500 approx, they seem attractively priced... just need a second opinion.

Thanks!

Pwede mo siya i-try. Kung ok sayo yung tunog kunin mo siya. Subwoofer drivers are part of the design of the full product, pwedeng yung ginamit mong driver di bagay sa enclosure na kinalagyan nito.

hi all!

bro may reason bakit nasira fuse, most probably a short circuit. dapat ma-trace problema, or else puputok uli yan kung basta mo lang papalitan. dapat talaga pa-check mo.

ung fuse ba nyan mataba? try mo sa car audio supplier.
