Any of you heard the two amps? How do they sound differently? Which has a less forward or more laid-back midrange?

Cayin's signature sound is laid back, while Line Magnetic sounds more dynamic.

Comparing the two amplifier is like comparing apple and orange. one is single ended and the other is push-pull.

If your question is regarding the signature sound of the two amp. Cayin is warm sounding thus it matches well with bright speakers. Line Magnetic is more of neutral sounding amplifiers. If you already bought a bright sounding speakers, don't loss hope.
