Topic: Need Advise - Repair or Replace on Pioneer A-717

My dad's Pio A717 amp needs to be serviced/repaired or replaced

I already sent this amp before to a Pioneer Service Center way way back to fix the control knobs..Sadly the front module is hard to replace..no parts available..kaya they just cleaned the amp and other stuff..

Anyone knows a technician that can restore this amp?  Maybe someone who has lots of old stuff lying around

Issues
- selector knobs for inputs are erratic, need to dial in exact position to get the correct inputs..busted na selector talaga
- imbalance na tunog, not sure if it has to do with the balance knobs too
- its working great naman, busted na talaga front module kung san selectors, switches, volume
- now I can turn the vol halfway (12 o'clock) before up to 10 lang eh malakas na..not sure what happened..it is connected to the same set of speakers 20++ yrs ago hehe

or I need suggestions on an amplifier that will pair great with my dad's JBL speakers.

I grew up with this set up from tape decks to the advent of CDs

Also my dad agreed that the amp needs repair or replace, but he don't want to ditch the A-717 (either sentimental value or hinayang lang since mahal ata bili nya noon hehe)
