Need any recommnedation. I am planning to buy 65" LED TV UHD. What is the best Bang for the Buck Model TV available in the Market? If possible PM me the store location and pice.
Thank you for the help.

This would help.  I bought the UN65KS8000 for US$1497.99 and will have it delivered door-to-door via LBC's Shippingcart.com to Manila for about P8000 only.

I think the main difference between the KS7000 (not the Euro version since it's supposed to be the same model as the US KS8000) and the KS8000 is that the KS7000 has an 8-bit panel (16.7M colors) while the KS8000 has a 10-bit panel (1.08B colors). Check the bezels to be sure. Within the KS8000 line, however, the 60" panel is thicker and supposedly made by Sharp while those of the other panel sizes are thinner Samsung panels.

Nope. It's a 10-bit panel. They wouldn't be able to say it supports HDR10 if it's not a 10-bit nor give it an "S" UHD badge and wouldn't get the UHD Premium certification if it isn't 10-bit. Even Samsung's lower end KU6300/6600 has a 10-bit panel. KS7000 here is the same as the KS7000 in the UK and KS8000 in the US.

I believe most of the KU models run 8-bit panels. They do support 10-bit input and use dithering on the 8-bit panel to provide good output (dithering is quite difficult to detect on most UHD panels due to the fine pixels/subpixels). The KS models all run 10-bit panels, afaik.

The KU6300/6600 are able to display 10-bit color gradient as confirmed by rtings.com in their review.

@leomarley, Sir, my existing TV is a 40" FHD Samsung, and I am planning to buy a 55" TV (eyeing on KU6000), which is a 4K UHD/HDR.... I came across your thread about 49KS7000 and likewise read reviews about it and it appears that 49KS7000 is far superior that the 55KU6000. But my dilemma is this: The size difference of 6 inch between a 55" TV and 49" TV something to consider. Being used to the 40", would I still consider that a 49" TV be "new" visually? Unlike a 55" TV, I would really "see" the BIG difference.....(I hope you got my point).

Another question, I have an LG Home Theater which merely has a DVD player and not a Blue Ray Player. Now, since my LG Home Theater has 5.1 speakers with 1000rms but with aesthetically better than the Samsung HT, my questions are: (1) Is the HT Blue Ray player of Samsung having a 1000rms speakers? (2) if so, would it be OK if I use the speakers of LG to match the Samsung Blue Ray player?

Just looked at their test results. It's good to know that most major brands have moved to 10-bit panels. Only the value brands stuck with 8-bit panels for 2016 it seems.

Ok na rin nga even the mid level uhd hdr TVs kasi HDR10 na rin. Although kulang pa sila when it comes to brightness, contrast, and grey uniformity.

Really? 8k lang? Sea cargo? Thanks for this info!

My initial shipping cost is P11K but the reported actual weight is more than double the item's actual weight.  I'm having that corrected now.  Dapat mabusisi ka sa measurements.  Since the US office takes in a lot of cargo, sometimes the personnel there take shorts cuts in measuring the box size and actual weight.  Since the shipping cost is based on actual weight or volumetric weight, whichever is higher, you have to show them proof (like Packaging Size and Packaging Weight stated in Amazon) that their measurements are wrong.  Shippingcart.com offers both air cargo and sea cargo.  Before buying an item, use the site calculator first to estimate your shipping cost for both air and sea.  For air cargo, items requiring special handling cost more to ship.

Sea cargo sir? But LBC SC had this rule?  " Off-size items, which are defined as any item that exceeds 18 inches, whether in terms of length, width, or height, fall under this category."  which make the item for class 2 air. Or pwede pa din for SEA cargo?

Sensya na po kung OT. Kinda new in LBC SC. Just ordered av receiver from Amazon kc.

Back on topic. For me.  I always like the Series 7 up from Samsung. Yung 4k TV namin is series 7 2014 model. 39k bili ko Last march. Hindi n kc mkpaghintay bumili n agad. 2015 models are still pricey back then.

You can send any item of any size by sea cargo.  For TVs, maximum size for air cargo is 55" but that would be too expensive.  You can call LBC SC at 8585999 if you have questions on their policies.  I've been buying online and shipping it to them for almost 2 years now. Really happy with their service.  However, read the fine print.  If you have items that require special handling for air cargo (like any gadget with a battery), the price jump is quite substantial. Experiment with grouping your shipments into more than one shipment (even if all air cargo) and see if the price savings are worth it.

I bought the UN65KS8000 and not the KS7000.  The KS8000 and the KS9000 have the same 10-bit panel although the PQ in the KS9000 is slightly better.  Price increment does not justify the PQ improvement though.

Is that from the US? Kasi yung KS8000 sa US is Ks7000 here. Sa UK, Ks7000 din ang KS8000 sa US. Meron sa UK ng KS8000 na may mas magandang local dimming.

I've been using SC since they started pa ata but never thought of sending in TV. I always thought it's pricey to do so, based on the quotation by Forex when I inquired before. Forex quoted me an outrageous $400 for a 40 inches tv! So, your info is so useful to me, not just through SC but if am in the US, I'll probably ship a BB through LBC containing the TV.

Hi Sir. wala na ding bang tariff/taxes yung pinaship nyung TV? I remember in SC website may taxes/tariffs cla based on item. Now I can't see the link but if you know the url, you can see the tariff/taxes. Nagpaship din kasi ako ng AV receiver today, pero wala namang additional taxes.

Agree. Dati kasing website nila may taxes/tariffs. Parang ngayun wala na. Sabi nila hidden pero wala pa naman akong naki2tang nagre2klamo ng mataas na tax/tariff sa electronics.

So kung wala nga. They are the best shipping company for me now. Kahit madaming customers at reklamo sa fb.

BTW,  where did you buy it? Bestbuy, Walmart, etc? I'm eyeing the 55" only. Hope the shipping fee will be cheaper. I'm thinking of asking my cousin who lives in Maryland to check out Costco. When I was in the US, I've seen good TV bargains in Costco.

Hello everyone!

I bought this TV back in August, and I must say it's worth it.

Sayang lang kasi if I waited a few months, mas mura ko sya makukuha sana.

Anyway, anyone else here having issues with the tv?

I have a blue horizontal line going from the left-right edge along the middle part of the tv.

So far, wala pang feedback on the replacement.

Thank you!

is it only one blue liner, sir?  how thick is it?  I would say that's annoying...

when did it come out and started reporting to Samsung?  did they already acknowledged its for replacement?

I have the KS9000 and initially set na ako sa KS7000 dahil maganda talaga PQ. When I was comparing side by side didn't notice a big difference in terms of PQ. Meron siguro pero I doubt if mapapansin pag hinanap mo.

The only reason I went for the KS9000 Is because of the stand. Di kasya dtand ng KS7000 sa existing tv rack ko.

Same pq but big difference is mas maganda local backlight dimming ng ks9000. Wala masyado backlight clouding at darker scenes.

Hi Folks,

Just got my 49 incher last night. I'm a first time Smart TV owner and I need help with the installation of our unit. Meron ba installation service from Samsung Philippines? If yes, what's the contact number and do they provision a wall mount? If wala, what mount type or brand do you suggest para I can contract na lang somebody to mount it sa walll namin. :)

TIA!
