I'd say the purple and gold has been the most active in this free agency.  No crazy and out of this world signings (Fred Van Vleet for example) for them.  Real world and easy to move contracts were given to players that can help them achieve their goal and can be trade pieces down the line if adjustments in the lineup are needed.

I'd say the purple and gold has been the most active in this free agency.  No crazy and out of this world signings (Fred Van Vleet for example) for them.  Real world and easy to move contracts were given which can be trade pieces down the line.

No he is not.  Classic overpay to sway a free agent to play for your team.   3 years guaranteed yung salary nya.  No team or player option.

So the Lakers lost the ff:

Mo Bamba - didn't play at all in the playoffs. No sample size to assess if he will be able to help them plus he has a huge salary (10.3M)  if they were to keep him.
Malik Beasley - couldn't hit the backboard at all during the entire playoffs  Had they retained him, they will pay 16.5M so they declined.
Troy Brown Jr - out of the rotation since the Feb trade deadline
Lonnie Walker -   out of the rotation since the Feb trade deadline but showed some signs of life in 2 games during the GSW semifinals series.
Wenyen Gabriel - Energy guy when he is on the court. The problem is that he rarely gets minutes.
Dennis Schroder -  He will give you 100% each night in defense. Very inconsistent though on offense.   

I think the players that they got to replace these dudes are far better.  They are still in a financially good situation to get D'Lo and AR15.  They are also in play to re-sign Malik Beasley at a much lower contract.
