I hope they don't pull the trigger to that Zach Lavine trade.  That guy is not worth the salary that he is getting.   215M yan for the next 5 years.  CHI listened to him and surrounded him with all the help that he was asking for back then...they got DeMar, Vucevic, Caruso and Ball (who they lost to injury).  That "help" cost them more than 250M in terms of salary.  They then extended Zach to the tune of 215M bringing their total investment for their supposed core to 465M.  That core won a grand total of 1 playoff game in the past 3 years,  ONE!!!!

The Lakers' depth right now is absorbing all the impact of their injuries early in the season.  Vando, Gabe Vincent, Rui, LBJ, AD all missed games na and their record is still above average (9-6).  If they give up their depth once again for an All Star player that they don't even know if he is a good fit for them eh they will be back to the team that they were before.

Two way players are the one's deserving of that kind of salary.  They had one before in Jimmy Butler.

Take note.....the Bulls traded Jimmy Butler for Zach Lavine back then.  Butler then moved to MIA from MIN after a year.  MIA has been to the Finals twice already plus a conference finals as well in the past 4 years,  In that same duration the Bulls won 1 playoff game with Zach as their franchise player.
