Spurs' Devin Vassell, Jeremy Sochan to miss rest of season

Spurs are chasing another top draft pick.  Wouldnt be surprised if they shut down Wemby by next week.

Interested on how they will do in the offseason.   They need to pair Wemby with a true veteran point guard.  Another season of losing will not be good in their pursuit of getting Wemby to sign an extension.  Mauumay sa talo yan.

eto dilemma ng Spurs....they initially thought that Wemby is a long term project but off the gate he has shown that they need to surround him with help ASAP because he can spearhead the team to the playoffs at least.  Nag iba bigla yung timeline nila.  Last year they were talking about the maturity and development of Sochan, Vassel and their other players.  Akala nila si Wemby ganun din pero yun pala eh andito na yung level of play na pang franchise cornerstone nila.   They need to accelerate that Spurs reboot now otherwise they risk losing him in the long term.  Matanda na din si Pop....give him the tools in order for him to compete at the highest level.

I remember Duncan.  He joined a Spurs team that had the likes of David Robinson, Avery Johnson etc.  Sophomore year...champion agad.  He was the missing piece.  Wemby is the centerpiece....now they need to find other pieces to the puzzle.

Parang Lakers lang noong 2018.  Puro developmental players in Ball, Ingram, Randle, Hart, Kuzma......then they landed the big kahuna in LBJ.  Biglang nag iba yung timeline nila.  They ditched the youth movement and got veteran help.....AD, Pope, Howard, Rondo, McGee, Morris etc.  Champion agad.

Year 7 nagsawa si LBJ sa pambobola ng Cavs in getting him the help he needs.  Nilayasan sila.  We dont know if Wemby has the same type of patience.  He might sign an extension na 2+1 pero pag wala pa din mangyayari and they still lose eh they risk losing him.

Wemby is a true TWO WAY Player......bilang ang players that impact both sides of the game.  Giannis, AD, Kawhi are examples.  The likes of Luka, Booker, Irving, Harden.....one way lang mga yan.
