I would say if u have enough money go 4 an upgrade..kung meron kana why bother....
remember speakers that are well taken cared off would last a decade or two....feeling ko new models are often just tweeked tweeters that comes in new design boxes 
so to conclude meron pinagkaiba konti clarity wise cguro dahil sa technology na meron tyo ngayon...
but not worth d upgrade

havent heard an S6 myself. aesthetically, the RS6 looks much better. sound-wise, the RS6 they say, has more bass and body as compared to the older S6.

superman is in better position to comment as he has owned an S6 and most probably has heard an RS6 as well.
hint: i opted for the GS10 as against the RS6 after my A-B comparison.

I would say there's a slight improvement on the RS6 particularly on the highs...as to the bottom end it is almost the same...strength of both S6 and RS6 is the midrange...try to ask audioworld c/o joey/kelvin, they may still have "s" models...

Thank you...Medyo curious lang ako sa sound and performance ng RS6...I have heard the S6 and it's an excellent loudspeakers...Better than B&W, Dali, Aurum Cantus & Castle...for me.  I am thinking to buy either an RS6 or RS8 to pair my Amadeus SR1 tube amp when I get back to the country.

Actually I own the original UK-built MA-S6 (Rosemah color-pls see pix below).  I bought it last December 2005 here in Dubai for US$1200 (2005 forex $1=Ph55) including the shipment and used it only for a year kase lagi naman akong nasa labas ng bansa.  My unit is in excellent condition, no scratch and never been played loud complete with box and already registered in the MA UK.  I would like to know if the local distributor in the Philippines is keen on a trade-in for an RS6 or RS8 model?  I heard recently the GS20, RS6 and RS8 here in Dubai but I found it not practical to buy another pair of MA without disposing my S6...Right?  (So if the local distributor of MA would like to consider my idea for a trade-in and I will just add some cash to compensate the local market price...Please let me know, PM me if it's amenable)

The shipment cost was equivalent to US$200 via air cargo including the insurance at the time.

Sabi may padating daw new shipment pero March pa.  Im pretty sure last good inventory was December pa.  Pero alam mo naman minsan sasabihin bukas pero 2 weeks pa pala.

Im not sure about the Silver series but definitely the BR1, BRFX and most of the Radius series out of stock.

i went to audioworld this afternoon, i couldnt beleive how "healthy" sir joey is now, i think we have to complement someone for this  (the last time i saw him was 2 years ago when i bought my MAsilver ht set up)

while i was waiting for someone to attend my concern, i can hear a lady complement their service and that she doesnt mind coming all the way from muntinlupa to bring her husband's gears for them to check (he's out of the country)

makes me feel better knowing that they will be doing the same kind of service for me, more power Sir JOEY and AUDIOWORLD!!!

Is it worth it to upgrade my BR2 to RS1?  is there a major diff?

i have auditoned the br2 and rs1, for me it is worth it, mas clear yung rs1. mas may separation low and mid. I also compared the br5 and rs6, i ended buying the rs6 no regrets

gusto ko na nga pumunta sa lotto nang maiuwi ko na yung dream ko na GS 60
