Our cash price for the Concept 6 is 22,800. In our opinion, these speakers are neutral sounding. It will sound forward or laid back, depending on what you feed them. But do not just rely on our opinion, we suggest that you visit our shop for a listen. As they say, audio is very subjective.

Hi!

In in the market for a pair of floorstanders. I have auditioned the Paradigm M7s and BW 603s. As suggested I should also look into your DALI speakers. The Suite 1.7 and 2.8 seems to be in the same class. May I know the difference between the too, the prices,and any specials? Will used it basically for audio, powered by tube amps. ( push pull and single ended)

Hi Skee,

The cash prices are as follows:

Suite 1.7 - P37,900
Suite 2.8 - P52,500

The 1.7 is the smaller speaker. It uses 2x5" mid/bass drivers while the 2.8 uses 2x6.5".

Their sound is quite similar. The 2.8 sounds warmer perhaps because it has deeper bass due to larger drivers. These are warm sounding speakers but lively and expressive.

Best is you listen to them.

I've been to your shop earlier this month and have tested your Concept 6. I found these speakers really great. I found the music is really laid back but much alive and smooth.

You were offering a package with the Concept 6 together with Concept sub, Concept Center and I forgot 'bout the bookshelf (for the rears), was it 1 or 2? How much was the package again?

This is the first time I have heard of Dali and it sure sounds and looks great. Been seriously considering to get the Dali Concept series since I find them to be really great value for the money. As soon as my budget allows it, I'll be going back to your showroom and giving it another whirl.

Yes, the Concept series are really wonderful speakers. They are well balanced and can play all kinds of music.

Here are our CASH prices:

Concept 6 (floorstander) - 22,800
Concept center - 8,000
Concept 1 (small bookshelf) - 8,600
Concept subwoofer - 21,000
Total for the 5.1 speaker system is 60,400 only.

If you use the concept 2 (bookshelf) as fronts, total package will be 50,500 only.

After 1.5 hrs playing Lateralus, lumalabas yung "detail". Gumaganda na. Sinalangan ko na ng Dishwalla saka nanood na ako ng Collective Soul's concert with the Atlanta Youth Symphony orchestra. Pati mrs. ko ang sabi kagabi " maganda pala manood ng concert dvd"

Happy naman ako with Concepts. Nagmatch pa rin sa room ko saka lumabas pa rin yung detail na hinahanap ko which is the first thing I noticed when I auditioned.

suggest play some new wave, para bilis break in...if OK with you, leave it on 24/7 for the next 2weeks, pag evening na, very low volume, but at least there's signal coming in...good luck!

I think I saw you last Wednesday when the guys at Architectural Audio were pulling away the cart full of Dali speakers and a box of HK AVR-340.

Very good choice for an HT/Audio setup.

On the other hand, we were there also getting exited over the new Dali Mentor 6 speakers.

Although may issue ako sa Harman avr340.(hindi ko na kasi ininspect what was on the box. naka cart na items pagdating ko)
masaya naman ako so far sa Dali. kahit concepts lang(entry level).

pinatugtugan ko ng Pearl Jam's ten, INXS, Staind, Electrafixion, Editors, Dishwalla, Our lady peace, Michael Johnson and James Ingram(my wife's cds), Ian Mcculloch.
My reaction is still the same so far. Oks na oks ang detail. pati subwoofer oks.

Tried watching Indiana Jones, Incredibles and some titles with DTS. Must be me pero parang mas impressed ako sa music kesa movies. Which is what I really want.

Nice to hear you're enjoying the setup.

However, may I ask what is your issue with the AVR-340? I'd like to help out if I can.

I also own an HK AVR-340 which replaced my Yamaha RX-V1400. I just bought it from Archi Audio last February, just almost two months ago. Quite new, but I'm liking it much more than my previous Yammie.

I also had problems at the beggining whenever I try to use the EZsetup. But I managed to resolve it after sometime of searching. I found out it was the wiring of my Surround Left speaker that was the fault. It was not properly connected to the speaker or was loose. I just re-spliced the cable and connected it bare and tight. After that, everthing is smooth and no problems so far as of this day.

I would watch 3 movies on average on Saturdays and another set on Sundays. Sometimes immediately one after the other. I go through my old DVD movies to compare. Yes, it does get really hot, but I keep it well ventilated. It's perfect so far, no glitches, no hangups.

You're right, it's quite good with audio.

I guess Dali Ikon 6 owners would have a new upgrade path.

The Mentor 6 is detailed and revealing. The bass response is awesome!

But then, let see or rather lets hear after a while. It's very new, so let's give it sometime to break-in.
