hi all!
Mga pre,
Advice naman, mura ba itong M52 for 15k?

Pwede po malaman which is better, a 74i model floor stnding or a B&W 602 s3,tnx po
any thoughts on these speakers?  was able to demo the Mission M72 (and the M71) at the HT.  i liked the sound though the bass seemed lacking.  considering that these are merely bookshelf speakers, am not too surprised though. would appreciate any feedback from owners of these models, or any Mission speaker for that matter.  am choosing between the M72s and the B&w 303, or if my budget can stretch a bit, a little more high-end speakers, in the P15 range.  my probable receiver is either the yamaha 530, onkyo 494 or the denon 1602.

thanks in advance.

Peeps, maybe you can help. I'm planning to buy Mission surround speakers that will complement my M73i, balita ko kasi phase-out na pala yung M70i/M70. So anong klaseng mission surrounds na lang ang bilhin ko and where..or baka naman me alam pa kayong store na nag-sell ng M70i
Thanks :-[

get the m71i. :)

then you can sell it to calvin if he is looking for surround speaker that will compliment his m73i. :)

mura na yan M52 sa 15K kasi ako I bought my M5 Complete Series (including M52, center, surround and sub)) at 100K. siguro kung M52 nasa 34K dati yon 2 years ago so ngayon mababa na....sige....

that's a shame.  meron akong m72 paired with a NAD system at tuwang-tuwa ako sa tunog.  even sounds better than when paired to ma b2s.(medyo bright)

yup, nakarinig na rin ako ng M72i paired w/ Nad receiver....ganda ngang tumunog.....

kaya lang ang mahal ng Nad eh....hanggang Denon lang ang nakayanan nung budget ko, but I am happy naman w/ it....

but mas maganda kapag M7 series tapos kabit sa arcam...., me nag-audition non dati.... akala ko di mission yung tumutunog....:)

sir 5Speed...glad to know di ako nag-iisa. ;D  maganda na rin denon...yung NAD ko integrated amp na 2nd hand kaya medyo affordable na hehe.  ganun ba kaganda arcam sir?  hope na ma-audition ko rin next time.

phase out na nga ang m70 series ng missions, but I love the way they sound, I have m72i for fronts and m70i for surround and m7c1 for center.... nung time na bumibili ako eh ang pinagpipilian ko na lang eh B&W 601 series, Mission M70 series at JM Lab Chorus Series (Focal Audio) w/c is way over my budget but I really love the way it sound....so it is a shoot out between B&W and Mission, they sound almost the same using same AVR (denon) and settings....what won me over was its price, B&W is more expensive in here than Missions.....big difference in price, almost the same in sound... B&W has more bass that seems overshadowing the mids (well maybe its not broken in yet at that time)....Mission has a detailed mid with less bass, but I am buying a bookshelf speakers and I dont have to expect a lot of bass from it....besides at that time I am really planning to buy a sub for my HT needs......hehehehe

Now I seldom see a M70 series in stores, it is replaces by M30's and M5 series.....but If you can hear a M780e speaker of mission.......hehehee I want one but for its price, maybe I also have to consider other brand....and I need to change my amp coz it is quite power hungry...... but I do like the way it sings and its looks....hehehehe

bro how much were the m72is when brand new?  lately lang kasi ako nagkahilig sa home audio at di ko na naabutan ang m70 era.  how are the new replacements pala?  same characteristics as the m70s?

congrats... another happy mission speaker owner....

a friend of mine got a new receiver, it has a torroidal transformer in it and the delivery of power is quite awesome....I am going to ask him if we can audition his receiver to my Mission M7 series setup....  Denon and Onkyo receiver drive this baby quite fine, but I knew it still has something in it that I havent heard off..... That Mission connected to Arcam receiver that I've heard is quite amazing, sadly I am only a spectator at that time and cannot insist what I want to hear, somebody is going to but that
Arcam and probably he also have the Mission as his speakers.... so maybe this is the time that I can hook my speakers to a real high current receiver.....  I wish I can borrow his receiver for the weekend....hehehehe

Need your help in deciding guys,

Someone is selling me 3 month old M34 (w/ warranty) for xxk cuz he wants to buy a M34i.

But on the other hand, Sonny Tuazon has a promo, pay 35% now, pay 35 next month, pay 30 the 3rd month. This way I was thinking I could get a M35 (30+k) using this pay lite scheme and NEVER have those "What ifs" & "should've", SARS thoughts...

It will be used for a 12 -18 sq m. condo living room thats attached to a 12 sq m dining room (that forms an L shape).

Baka overkill. My current gear are: M72, M7c1i (will upgrade to M3c2 soon), M7ds, Yammy 650, Velodyne CHT-10.. Use is 85% HT , less than 15% music.

Which would you buy? I need to give my decision to the M34 guy tomorrow AM...  ;D

Thanks guys,

Hehe, Go for which? ???

I plan to use the M72 for surrounds for the meantime, the M7ds for back surrounds..  ;D

Si Jackryan talaga, ang lakas ng purchasing power, daming datung pambili dito sa forum.  ;D

Anyway, I consulted the missus last night and she said, "Knowing you, get the M35, para ma-content ka na....". Syempre sangkatutak na lambing ako sa kanya pag tapos... Haay I love my supportive wifey. Kala ko latigo abot ko :D

So for now M35 muna ako...

Alam ko na! I will sell you my M72 but you have to sell me the M73i that you got from the buy & sell section (naunahan mo ako doon  ;D )

That way I dont have to spend so much on my floorstanders! :D
