i agree w/ zap. you can just phantom the center for the time being. and you get that mission sound you've been longing for ;D in dialogs and in stereo.

Try to audition M33, maganda  din yun. Maybe the AV stores have em now, this was always out of stock before cuz its a hot seller.

Just buy em a little at a time so that its lighter on the pocket. Unahin mo na yung M3c2. Then the surrounds and then save up for the M34i sa May or June, its worth it.

Let me rephrase that: Unahin mo na yung M3c2 and the surrounds and then save up for the M34i (or M33) sa May or June. Use the surrounds (if M30 or M31) for the fronts for the meantime. Hehe, that was what I meant.. ;)

Oks lang yan, I drooled over this picture for months myself. Di rin nakatulog minsan :). But sobrang satisfying pag sa yo na. Parang babae.(yung legit ha!)....pinaghirapan ;D

Dheeeeng! Congrats! buti Mission kinuha mo! di ka magsisisi :D! Maganda talaga ang tunog, di pa break in yan. If you combine it with the right speaker cables & interconnects, gaganda pa tunog nyan!

I am going to use my M72 for audio (tubes) in the future. Nakatabi lang so far for ilang months na. I just met New Age and he is teaching me some tube basics but I will get into tubes after my house renovation, dami na kasi gastos.  ;D

Just wait at the marketplace, there will be people selling their Mission stuff.

I agree. I am using Ixos 6006 now bi-wired with my old Audio pro 16awg and there was a huge improvement when I first connected this combo. The detail was astounding with my Mission M34 & Ixos xhd304 interconnect.

I also recently changed the audio pro with some of my spare Genesis 12awg (the rest were used for my surrounds in our ongoing condo renovation) and there was also a change in the sound quality.

A guy from the wiredstate forum used a M74 biwired with Ixos 6006 for the LF and Ecosse 2.3 for the HF. I plan to do this someday... when budget allows, hehe dami na gastos recently.

I also recently met bro New Age and he really recommends the Ecosse 2.3 for audio (with Mission speakers).

haayy..mission accomplished nako! ...kinda...hahaha!! i ended up getting a pair of M32 sa S&S shang,..bait ng bosing dun...ung chinese,..akalain mo ba namang pumayag i deliver ung speakers ko kahit dipa fully paid...1/3 kasi cash, then 2/3 card,..kaya lang nahihrapan akong i figure out kung sakin sya nakatingin pag naguusap kami..lolz. Stand na lang...saka medyo fancy na speaker cables for my fronts...and a couple of banana plugs, solve na....

IMHO.  O0

Bait talaga yung Boss doon. I have seen him for many years serving in Mary the Queen Church in Greenhills before I learned that he owns S&S.

Perfect View has a speaker stand w/ 3 posts, vission yata ang brand. But its at over P4500.

If you can wait, I am planning to bring in some speaker stands in the near future, I am just waiting for the samples to arrive for quality approval.

deo,

Sana nga ibaba na lang din nila ang price ng Mission same as wharfs but not the quality.

Yup, IAG owns Wharfedale (and Quad. Kelan kaya darating ito dito?). Naku, baka mag-kevlar na rin Missions :D

Mission sold to IAG

Whats the trend here? Does this mean that Missions will appreciate or depreciate?

I still love my Missions pa naman. I was scouting for other tower speakers (hard to find Missions lately) recently cuz I am setting up a HT for my sister. I was able to audition Dali and Monitor. I didnt like the sound of the entry level Dali very much, but the unit wasnt  broken in pa raw. I liked the Monitor Audio B4, very good bass and great speakers...but ayaw ko yung japorms nya  :-\.

Thats why I like the Missions, balance of good sound and good looks! 8)

I was recently told by an audiophile about how good the M72 is, so I brought out my shelved M72 from our storage room last weekend to compare it side by side with the M34 (with HKardon 630).

And my oh my! Now I have respect for this little bookshelf! The details were outstanding and really loved the sound of it. It just wasnt there when it was connected to my Yamaha several months ago. Even the bass was astoundingly good for a bookshelf speaker when I set it to 2 channel listening (at large setting with no subs).

Kaya pala this audiophile told me never to sell this M72. Curious tuloy ako kung how the M74 sounds  ;D.
