.......waiting for 6 to 8 months is no problem w/ me (kahit nga more than 1 yr. pa eh

) since am financially recuperating anyway coz we just paid a maturing loan for the house, buti nga naisingit ko pa ang Rotel cdp without the knowledge of the wifey, hehehe

Sir, ang ganda ganda talaga ng HT room mo. Yan ang pangarap kong dedicated HT room. Pag-tama ko sa Lotto (papaano kaya tatama kung di naman tumataya?) ipapaayos ko yung bodega ko sa basement at iku-convert ko tulad ng sa 'yo.

.......di mo na kelangan pang tumaya sa lotto & yakang-yaka mo naman yan, actually hindi naman masyado mahal magpa-renovate & magpagawa ng dedicated HT room basta ikaw mismo ang mag-dedesign, bibili ng mga materials & closely supervised ang mga karpentero & pintor katulad sa ginawa ko, nakakapagod lang pero malaki naman ang matitipid as compared to contracting professional acoustician/designer

i just read & read lots of stuff on acoustics sa internet, then pasyal pasyal sa mga A/V shops na may HT to get some ideas, tapos i-apply mo na sa actual construction at yun na yon, hehehe

Congrats on the cd player. Looks really nice. And sounds as good too, I'm sure. Perfect set-up na 'yan classicman.

almost 3yrs na panny ae500 ko this sept,and yung ae900 this year lang lumabas,gap nila almost 2yrs din

hindi ko kaya maghintay ganon katagal

habol na lang ako ulit sa ae1100 kung papalarin

........the cdp indeed looks very nice & sounds great - perfect match for my cdm1 se, but still far from being a perfect audio set-up since i still need a decent integrated amp. & an appropriate audio rack

pare, sulit na rin pala ang ae500 mo sa performance nya for 3 yrs. & the countless joys & excitement it gave you of having that theater-like viewing experience during that period

Sir. I also had a RPTV before in between my speakers. When I removed the RPTV in favor of the PJ , the improvement in music was very big since there was enough room for the music to move in the center. There was more depth and imaging was improved by a lot.

When audio listening , try:
1.) moving your speakers closer to you and away from the TV
2.) moving the TV away (its harder) and listen to your setup with nothing in between the speakers.
3.) If all else fails, Get a PJ.

great suggestion matt. PJ is the way to go for the ultimate HT experience....as posted before...im sure the next model after Panny ae900 will be a good buy again..

if the price of the panny ae900 will continue to drop to the P40k level (just day-dreaming, hehehe

), then i might take the plunge now

......if not, will just wait for the new model in about 2 years & hope to win the lotto in the meantime

it's actually a 7.0 all B&W speaker set-up that Munskie has right now, his .1 being a Velo 12r but it's even more awesome than a B&W sub for HT application
