this is expected. we can't expect to see the complete graphic novel in a 64pg booklet that's free from a dvd  ::)  tuloy ba bukas ang release?

Yeah I spoke with them. Warner said stock just arrived from abroad but still hasn't been processed through customs so final release date is a moving target. August 2/3 is worst case hopefully but whatever the final release date, PinoyDVD  will allow orders 1 day before so you get your DVDs on time the following day.

This is now available at pinoydvd.biz.  Already made my order just a few minutes ago.   Nagbaka-sakali lang ako kanina, and I was pleasantly surprised that orders are now accepted.   :D  Hopefully, this will be in my hands by tomorrow.  ;D

As per one of the online store guys, the DE slipcase now mirrors the other region releases, meaning it features the stylistic illustration of V instead of Natalie Portman's face. I'll try to confirm directly with Warner.

Sorry what they meant was that the DE mirrors what's posted on the PinoyDVD.biz product page. So the slipcase looks exactly like that. My bad. Stocks are there by the way so early birds should get their copies by tomorrow.

The banner at the bottom of this site says the 2-disc deluxe edition is of limited stock for pinoydvd.biz. Will it be available in offline stores like Astroplus as well?

Yes, but like the bestselling Batman Begins DE release, the allocations for the physical stores are limited as well.

Based on my last update from the online store, the DE is very popular but they still have stock. It's only streeting today after all.

Just called Astro Glorietta...
The guy said they still don't have any booking for the DVD, and only the VCD version was released to them...
And worst, they don't know when they'll have a copy of the DE DVD... :( :( :(

We are talking to other banks also but not all are ready for online transactions yet. Unfortunately the limitation is on their end so we cannot do anything except follow up. We are confident however about prospects of ATM/debit card payments and hope to offer them soon to you. Perhaps as early as 60 days.

As per Warner, deliveries of the 2-disc and DE DVD sets were made to Astro's main warehouse. These will then be delivered to the various branches so just check again after lunch.

Orders made through PinoyDVD.biz yesterday started arriving earlier this morning. My friend from the Scout area got his about an hour ago.

xage just posted a picture of the Target Exclusive R1 V for Vendetta dvd. I also has the comic book but the slipcase is lenticular. Why didn't Warner include that as well? I think that the Batman Begins and Corpse Bride DE dvds sold far better than the Constantine DE.

Yeah, I was actually hoping for a suprise that we'll have a lenticular slipcase. I also believe that those two titles went well compared to Constantine.

BTW, this MTRCB sticker thingy is rather annoying. I really do hope they place it somewhere else :(
