i saw a copy of Mulan @ P299 at Astroplus SM Hypermart C5 - looks like the last copy too. another title i saw was Little Mermaid R3 @ P550 which seems to be out of stock anywhere else.

wala naman problem sa copy ko. although there's one part in the subtitle na ang tagal mawala sa screen.

Thanks...I thought 1 disk lang e coz walang nakalagay na 2 disk siya. Tapos walang features sa label. Malay ko bang yan na pala yun 2disk dvd na may features hahaha. Bulok talaga yun nag package.

I saw Fantastic Four and Kingdom of Heaven marked down at P299 and Braveheart at P350 at Landmark in Makati and in Astro Podium. FF and KoH were also at P299 in Video City in Megamall...

It's a bit weird right now - ALL Viva's cartoon/children's titles except CARS at Video City are 450 - including the recently released ICE AGE 2, GARFIELD 2. At Astro, the new titles are still at 750, while the old ones are still at 299.

I noticed this, too.. And the P900 Pirates of the Caribbean 2 and High School Musical R1 is down to P750..

Was in AstroPlus Makati this evening and saw High School Musical R1 being sold for P750. The Ice Age 2 is repriced at P450.

May ongoing sale kasi ang SM, so I'm not sure kung kasama lang sa sale or fixed price na yung ganun.

The Viva price drops are pretty much universal. They're adopting a very different approach from the other distributors, and repricing after 2 to 3 months is core to their strategy.

The price drops have always been universal, but this afternoon, I checked at Astrovision, and both Garfield 2 and Ice Age 2 were still at 750. They even checked the central computer for me to see if there was a price drop they didn't know about.
