Nga pala, warning lang sa lahat (especially sa mga first-time buyers) ng dvd player, ingat kayo sa pagbili dahil napansin ko lang na nagkalat ngayon ang mga fake na Nextbase sa mga stalls jan sa Sta. Cruz/Quiapo area ganun din sa mga malls (kadalasan stall ng mga kapatid nating Muslim-no offense meant), halatang fake dahil yung badge/logo e halatang ja-fake at ikinabit lang dun sa mga player na questionable ang pinanggalingan at imagine patung-patong ang mga display nila (saan kaya galing mga ito-Malaysia? Indonesia? China?

) at nagaya na rin nila pati warranty card ng Techpoint

. Isa sa mga paraan para mapatunayang genuine yung bibilhin nyo e look for the hologram seal sa side at tingnan ang build quality saka yung model na hindi naman naglalabas ang Nextbase. Ganun din naman na bumili lamang sa mga store na authorized/kilalang retailer ng Nextbase (Watson, Western, SM, Ambassador, etc.) at laging humingi ng official receipt.

Ewan ko lang kung may napansin na rin kayong mga ganito. Basta ingat lang. =)

In the meantime, I have to watch muna dvd's on my pc through its 17" AOC flatscreen monitor na madalas ko rin namang gawin kasi kakumpitensiya anak sa ht sa baba watching his favorite cartoons/family discs for the nth time. (Ano ba yan, computer na sa work computer pa rin sa bahay, haaay naku... techno stressed na ko ). Medyo tinatamad pa kasi ako bitbitin ung pc pababa to connect it to my tv.

Hmm bagong player? If your into music, research mo kung yung kebao8089 ay may SACD capability or yung xenon e DVD-A capable but I think mas pabor ka sa kebao

If I have the money I'll buy one of them or both if proven na "capables"

I'm planning to buy a Nextbase 785 either sa Raon or sa Watson's. Pero lately, wala na akong naririnig na balita tungkol sa Nextbase... Ok pa ba sya? Magkano na ba sya ngayon?

Galing sa mga posts dito, parang maganda talaga itong Nextbase 785 kasi paranag lahat kayang i-play pero yun nga lang, medyo may kalumaan na rin itong modelo na ito. Ano ba bago ngayon sa Nextbase?

Proven na naman na ok ang NB785 e, but maybe you wanan try the Skyworth 3250/2650 for a change.

need help with my next base dvd. i dont want to go over the 80 pages so sorry for asking abruptly. so here it is...

i just swithced to a new avr...rxv450. im using coaxial cable. there was no sound from the channel. i tried using a pioneer dvd so far theres a sound naman.

I don't know exactly what model of nextbase you have. But have you tried configuring the audio setup on the menu of the NB? try setting the Digital Audio Setup page and set the output to All if it has that. Then configure the input selector of the receiver to receive the signal from the nextbase.

Latest models I think has both. If you have a dts, dd capable receiver pass thru mo nalang to the receiver (coax o optical cable) so that the receiver decodes it.

To all first-time Nextbase buyers: Konting ingat lang mga 'tol sa pagbili ng mga latest Nextbase models specially the 783 series. The owner of Mayer's Photo Supply admitted that the latest batch of this series is not good - more than 50% are returned to the store. This model cannot read some discs like those burned with a DVD writer and even skips often when playing regular DVDs. Just because it is a Nextbase doesn't mean it is always a good quality brand. Nextbase is known for its unreliable quality standards - one batch will be good while the next batch will be problematic and the next batch will be good again. Old-time Nextbase afficionados like Bestbuy know this fact. And to think that it is priced much higher (at P3,200) than other China-made DVD players. The latest 783 edition has a similar set-up interface/menu as the cheaper brands like Lexing and VMS (2, 100 pesos) and other unknown DVD generic players. Be sure to test your unit well before taking it home at baka masayang lang ang oras ninyo at effort sa pagbili nito.

hello everyone....

last week i just found out that my remote for nb 9000 does not funtion anymore. sorry po i haven't read the whole thread with regards to remote control problems with NB. the unit is no longer under warranty...it is already a year & a half old.

can anyone give advise on what to do...sayang kasi if i will dispose this one lahat kasi ng bala kinakain sa player nito...

Had a Nextbase s-200 system for aboput a year now. It worked great when it was new, but recently it started choosing discs. Even old discs that it used to run without any problems don't work anymore. It's really becoming annoying. Is there a way to fix this problem?

In case its beyond repair, and the damage is brought about by wearing out my player. What can Ido now? I cant just replace the player since no other player in the market has a built-in amp to support the passive 5.1 speaker system that is packaged with the s-200 (or is there?).

So, either someone tell me how I can fix the problem with my s-200 player, or suggest anoter player that can make use of my s-200's speaker system.

Really appreciate the help. Thanks!

ung watson b dealer ng techpoint or sarili nlla import un? kc ng-ask me dun s watsons sbi nla service center techpoint. tinanung ko nman s techpoint sbi nla pg wla dw techpoint seal at warranty card, hndi dw nla seservisan. pero dealer daw ng techpoint ung watsons. naguguluhan n ako mga pre. volume kc kuha ko (buy and sell me s province). may mga nextbase n nga ako nakuha n wla seal ng techpoint pero may waranty card. pero mababa benta ng watsons a! ang tanung maseservisan kya un pg ngkaproblema?

I am looking with a built-in DTS decoder with 6-channel output at the back for ny amp. Plays just about every type of disk.

I am planning to replace my Konka DVD Player. Defect? Namimili na nga mga disk. Iyong walang problema dati now ayaw na. Hindi na gumagana ang remote. Hindi ang control, kundi malamang sa loob ng player. Dec 2002 nabili kaya sulit na rin.
