checked my copy this afternoon & darth mond is right, the Scorsese on Scorses feature length documentary is missing. what a disappointment, as this is the supposed highlight of the special features. :(

less 10%? wow naman! sa podium walang steelcase but the reg ed, ndi on sale. i think warner just chose stores na bibigyan nila ng sale for new titles. even harry's goblet was not on sale. gusto ko sana un.
Absolutely no regrets!

Hey, you're right. d**n, misprint pa on the insert they included. It's also listed on the back of the keep case version, but I guess this will be missing from all R3 releases of this title?

From someone who's been collecting DVDs from Day One (and I have the posts here to prove it), yes, I believe this is the first locally-released steelbook. Steelbooks are a more recent packaging development, anyway - they were launched in 2004.

For the history of steelbooks, click here;D
nice link.  I got my copy btw which didn't expect. :)

Got my steelbook copy at Music One this afternoon for 675 pesos (10% discount for BPI Edge Credit Card). I think they still have 2 more copies left.

bakit dami nagsasabi ng "...if it werent for the oscar win i wouldnt settle for the steelcase..." this is martin scorsese, it's worth the d*mn steelcase at any rate, oscar win or not. and if you're a true dvd freak & movie buff, you will always go for the best copy of dvd money can buy, in this case, the steelcase. so grab the steelcase whether an oscar win or not! this is one fine movie helmed by one of the greatest hollywood filmmakers, period.

Looks like they have re-stocked the steelcase edition. Lots of copies too (more than 10) at Odyssey Gateway.

alisin mo dahan dahan lang para wag mapunit...kung may maiiwan na pandikit sa steelcase...get a masking tape then stick it over the remaining glue...remove..stick...remove stick lang hanggang matanggal lahat. ;D

You could peel off the sticker first then remove the residue with a little baby oil.   :)

and if you're a true dvd freak & movie buff, you will always go for the best copy of dvd money can buy...

Like I said, packaging is unimportant to me. It doesn't make me any less of a DVD freak and movie buff than you. As long as the film and special features are intact, I'm happy. I'm so disgusted with this R3 steelbook release since it's missing the "Scorsese on Scorsese" documentary that I actually just ordered the R1, and will dispose of this incomplete copy as soon as my R1 arrives.

A DVD containing the "Scorsese on Scorsese" documentary, for me, would in fact be "the best copy of this DVD that money can buy" - despite it not being in a fancy metal case.

Different strokes for different folks.  8)

I used acetone. Initially, there'll be a slight discoloration. But after a couple of minutes, it would be flawless.

Got the lone steelbook last night from Astro.  Nice packaging for an R3. Has no intserts though, but I used the back loose leaf as one.
