The box is labeled made in Japan. Got the unit from Listening Room. It comes with warranty card from LotteWorld Audio Visual Systems Inc. SRP 96K but you can get that lowered... ;) ;) ;)

From the 2308 model all the way up to the top model, they are all made in japan.  1508- 1708 made in china

mga peeps, ngayon ko lang binuksan ang aking 2308. and what a surprise to find a pre-outs on the unit. my 2308 is not the CI version you find in the denon UK & US website. the 2308CI doesn't have a pre-outs as per the website but the 2308 (lang) meron. now i have the chance to own sir matz 5-ch bada amp in the pyutyur ;D.




also, i noticed that it only came with 1 remote control while the CI comes with a 2nd controller. but the control i got is back to back, meron 2nd zone control (same as the 2nd smaller one sa CI model) but incorporated na sa main controller.



a definite good update from the previous model, the 2307 (made in china) and now its "made in japan". if you can check the unit have a peek at trafo inside the amp, its massive.

btw, my wharfe evo's sounded better. ;D

My Toshiba HD-A35 HD DVD player just arrived, and it can output high bitrate audio.   The Denon 3808 read this........  Dolby TrueHD being decoded by the receiver!!!
