Basta Disney or Buena Vista, Viva DVD iyon. Ang dami nilang DVD titles na nakasa sale since yesterday. Buti na lang for you at hindi kasama ang Pearl Harbor kundi lalong sumama ang loob mo.

In Addtition to the info of Wedding Singer...there's always a VIVA Logo at the back

Guys,

I just went to Astro and Odyssey XL yesterday and i was about to buy Braveheart.kaso umatras ako .kasi 900php ang price which ended up buying Gone in 60 secs and Shanghai noon..which is actually i think a good buy(dami kasing features nung disk)..

Anyway yung braveheart ba eh 2 disk set o single disk lang? Dami bang features? kasi walang nakalagay sa labas eh..is it true na pareho sila nang R1 release...thanks

R3 BRavehart is a 2-disc set on an ugly see-thru keep case without inserts. The insert details appear at the back of the front cover which you can see thru the keep case. I had Astro chaged it to a black keep case. Good thing Astro agreed. Never mind the insert details which are just the chapters anyway.

I might get Gone in 60 Seconds which has a very good review as a DVD but a bad one as a film.

This is a First...my first time to recommend some Viva released Titles, I recently discovered that they approximate the Original R1 complete with the desirable booklet;
James Bond Movies Starring Pierce Brosnan
1) Goldeneye
2) Tommorow Never Dies
3) The World Is Not Enough

They are currently being sold for Php850.00, maybe it's a lot better to wait for the Viva sale, and if the price will approximate that of the current Disney Titles, WoW, and then it's a really really GOOD BUY.

Very true. Got those 3 titles from Astro and they are comparable with the R1 Sean Connery/Roger Moore titles I got. Looking forward to get other titles to solowly build my 007 DVD collection.

Patuptup- I think this is more of an exemption rather than the rule for Viva releases, Lucky for James Bond Collectors, I'm hoping that the other James Bond collections will make here.( and later be on sale for Php450.00-This I grab)

this might not be the right thread but talking about viva, well, i bought this vcd of "the longest day" coz it says in the label 50th Anniversary-Original Black and Whiter version...and to my consternation, when i played it IT WAS IN COLOR!!!..so what gives viva???if they cant do justice to VCD, what more to DVD??come to think of it, this might be a good case to bring to DTI - a case of misrepresentation!!!

It seems they have lowered their prices! From P750 to P550 for some titles like Armageddon, Conair, AirForce1, etc and some of the Disney Cartoons.

Okay, reviving an old thread... With so many complaints on Magnavision and C-Interactive 299 pricing for DVD, why nobody's complaining about the 750 price of Viva DVDs. Most Viva DVDs are now priced at that level...even older titles (but recent imports) like Die Hard, Speed, and 95% of Disney Titles, etc. Their quality is not that much better than those from Magnavision and CI., some maybe DVD9 but they are still single disc and IMHO, too pricey at 750 for older titles... They should price it like Batman Begins (2-Disc-475), Million Dollar Baby (2 Disc - 375), Constantine, etc...
