Can't even watch the NFL play-offs and a lot of nba games!!!!!!!!!!!

how is the destiny signal in new manila qc? i read in destiny's website that there are two types of plans. one is 450 the other is 500 pesos. what is the difference? the 450 plan is available in QC area. tnx

hubes, comparing the Sky and Destiny signals in my house, it's roughly the same, with the exception that Destiny is more consistent. There are hours of the day (mid-morning to early afternoon) when the high teens-early 20s of Sky are blurry - this does not happen with Destiny.

I'm paying 450. From what I know, those getting ESPN/Star Sports are paying 500. We unfortunately do not have the option to get those on Destiny in our area - for now, at least.

just made the switch to destiny today. Signal is ok in our area (las Pinas), but other channels (ABS-CBN, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon) are noticably clearer sa skycable. But I don't mind since I'm usually glued to BTV and Solar Sports, and destiny subscription is much cheaper compared to Sky. I just notice na panay ang pamimigay ng flyers ng Destiny sa mga subdivisions (well at least from where I live).

Someone from SkyCable just confirmed that this is true. But it will be available only to SkyCable subscribers with a Digibox. You'll need to pay an additional P100 per month too.

But the catch its on Channel 149 meaning its on a PREMIUM channel (WWAAAHHH!!!) additonal 100 bucks on your monthly subcriptions. :'(

Actually it's basically P220.....Monthly rental of 1 unit digibox(P120) and BTV itself (P100). Yabang yabang pa ng Sky kesyo redundant channels eck eck. So magmamakaawa rin pala sila sa Solar Sports.

Actually i'm an existing sky cable subs with a digibox already kaya 100 na lang daw on top of my monthly rate.

Ang asar lang talaga sa Premium channel nilagay ung BTV malamang nag bayad na lang sila sa Solar tapos sa atin sisingilin. Bakit kamo syempre Lopez owned din ang skycable tulad ng Meralco!

Kaya bayad na lang tayo kung gusto natin dagdag channel na dati naman kasama na sa free channel $:-\$

Oh ok. Well for those who are thinking about switching back to Sky...additional P220 nga aside from the monthly fee. Don't switch...it's not worth it.

Yup you're right, sa atin sisingilin yun pambayad sa Solar Sports while sa Destiny included sa basic package. So they basically just ate their words when they dropped the Solar channels. And now they negotiated to at least get BTV back.

Just got off the phone talking to the CS of Skycable here in Sta. Rosa to verify the BTV broadcast.
The CS confirmed that they will start broadcasting and are adjusting channel assignments. The CS
also told me that there will be no addtional fees.

I won't hold my breath on this until it comes to fruition. Abangan....
