I got a 32LX70 from them.  Medyo bago pa lang so I can't tell much.  So far, I'm very satisfied with this model.  The colors are bright, nice contrast ratio, solid blacks and the best part is you can view it from extreme angles without compromising the picture quality.

Cons for this unit is that it cannot accept a 1080p signal.  However, since most, if not, all players can be tweaked to output at a set resolution, I do not see this as a big issue.  Not really much point in trying to display a 1080p signal unless malaki ang set mo.

Panasonic TE32LE7 owner, unit bought from sir Jeff

For cable - You'll notice more graining than SDTV but some channels like CNN aren't as grainy. Switching channels takes time though, it'll take a while before the TV processes the signal of the new channel so surfing takes pretty looong. Set-up was easy though. User manual was pretty explicit. I chose Position, then CATV then auto tuning then presto! All cable channels appear in a cinch.

DVD Viewing - Very good, Had a Nextbase 818 connected via S-Video and the PQ was great, especially with DVD 9 titles. Blacks, as expected, don't translate as well as with most LCD's i think. Have since changed the player to a Philips DVD 5986 because I wanted DivX playback and to have less cable clutter with HDMI instead of cables, especially since the LE7 only has 1 component input (which was already in use). Also, no handshake issues with using the HDMI port.

Game consoles - Have a Wii connected via component and everything is fantastic. Colors are vibrant, and no stuttering issues whatsoever. Mario never looked any sexier IMO (in a non ghey way).

The units control button's are on the top though, I'd much prefer them if they we're on the side.

My final choices came down to the Samsung R81, LG LC4R, Panasonic LX70 and LE7. Opted for the LE7 so I could afford to buy a new DVD player w/ DivX playback via USB. Haven't left my room as much as I used too since purchase, which have led me to save money that I would have spent on gimiks, but instead I'll be purchasing a PS3 (primarily as a BluRay player) in a few weeks.

Connecting the 32LX77 to a PC via the PC input does not give good PQ.
The additional cost for the PC input is just additional cost you would need to connect your PC via DVI-HDMI to maxxed PQ.

Playing PS2 via S-vid is quite good I might say as good as watching DVD's through component cable.
I would suggest you get the LE7 unless you want more than a single HDMI input.

Why get a LE7 if LX77 has more features?  ???

I bought the LX70 from Sir Vic last December 15 and i haven't regretted it. When I was buying, i bought some DVDs with me and then watched as the output was displayed on the different brands simultaneously. PQ of the LX70 was way better than those of the other brands. Just to showcase the outstanding PQ of the TV to people who come over, I always pop in "300" or "Cars" and I never get tired seeing their jaws drop. Cable program PQ is just passable. But hey, i bought the TV to watch DVDs so I am not complaining!

I am having second thoughts of buying a PS3, knowing that it is 1080p. Can the LX70 display PS3 output? Please advise.

Datablitz ATC, people over at PinoyN.com have had bad feedback about the CDR King component cable, they say the shielding is lacking which results in a lot of signal noise.

I bought it for 495 cash which was odd, since their S-Video cable was also 495.

Has anyone connected an XBox 360 or PS3 with the HDMI port of the LE7? The manual doesn't recommend connecting a game console to either HDMI1 or 2 (referring to Table "Types of connectable equipment to each connector" of pg 22-23 of instruction manual).

Check this out.  PS3 supports 1080i now, which LX70 also supports.

I believe both A/V shops have PS3 for demo.  Just in case nobody can give you a satisfactory answer, you can see for yourself to the A/V Shop.  Audition is the key factor here.  Beauty is really in the eye of the beholder.  Then again, with the sell-rate of these items, I guess we have the same eyes.  ;D

For me, a CRT TV is still better than an LCD TV when cable viewing is concerned. However, the difference is not really night and day naman. CRT=8, LCD=7.

I agree na mas superior pren ang crt sa local television compare sa lcd.

I used only Baron antenna sa LX70 ko and ok nman cya pero cyempre mas angat pden ang CRT kahit wlang baron antenna pag dating sa local television  ;D

Gaming using PS2 is  ok din.

And kung DVD viewing and pag uusapan alam naman nting lahat ang kakayahan ng Panny eh haha wla na akong masasabi pa  ;) This is my primary reason why i bought LX70 because i will use mainly for DVD viewing  :)

And kung looks nman ang pag uusapan, di din pahuhuli ang Panny dahil very good looking din cya  ;D

Medyo OT lang.....pero helpful naman sa owners.  ;)

Sir Thurzki,
Nice set-up.  BTW, is that a Stac AVR?  You see, I'm confused about something.  Stac is one of the recommended brand for AVR.  In addition, I usually read that grounding is necessary for HT Set-up.  However, based on the supplied outlet of stac, it's only 2-prong.  Does this mean if I use Stac, grounding is not possible?

merong screw sa likod ng Stac na pinagkakabitan ng ground.  If you have a 3 prong supply from your wall, you have to make some additional set up sa Servo AVR.  Madali lang ito gawin.

I did this to my set up.

Connecting the 32LX77 to a PC via the PC input does not give good PQ.
The additional cost for the PC input is just additional cost you would need to connect your PC via DVI-HDMI to maxxed PQ.

Did you did this via VGA?  I was only able to reach 1024 x 768 resolution.  How about you?  Do you think it possible to reach the LCD's native(1,366 x 768) resolution via VGA or only DVI-HDMI will be able to provide that?  :)
