Hello guys! Wats are the movies worth having bluray copies? I noticed that some bluray release arent that satisfying in the sense that its only at par w/ dvd copies. I'm conducting this survey so i will learn from the experts their experiences when it comes to watching bluray films.I know DISNEY's CARS has an excellent bluray copy while some like GONE IN 60SEC is that good.

sir wat i'm interested in are personal opinions of members who have experienced watching bluray movies. People's taste vary from one another we may or may not agree to each other's opinions. i would like to know wat wat movies catch there interests and why so.

I've hold off buying Disney platinum edition since i'm a late adopter of the DVD. But once they go BLU with SLEEPING BEAUTY, i'll start from there.

To me casino royale has very nice pq..I haven't compared it to the dvd copy bec my wife misplaced my casino royale dvd somewhere. Bad trip, but you know us guys we cannot get mad at our wives

As far as i know, during a demo from SONY, i really noticed its excellent PQ coz i can really notice Daniel Craig"s blue eyes shining and clearly plus Eve Green looks exotic when formally dresssed in a scene inside the casino. I'm really tempted to buy a copy but i cant find a used 1 below 1k. By d way is ur casino royale the one w/ japanese subtitle or exclusively a US release copy?

Casino Royale will always be a reference title for me coz it has almost everything you would want for a Blu-ray title. A very good Bond film, very good PQ, and near perfect soundtrack.

It doesnt rate a perfect PQ rating coz the colors are oversaturated for me, which makes skin tones unnatural. But the three-dimensionality you are looking for a HighDef title is there, and details expecially skin texture is near solid.
