bring your amp to 5th ave. trinoma and check out the mordaunt short speakers models carnival,avant,aviano and mezzo. look for mr. ronnie mena.

cambridge audio amps matches well with the mordaunts.

Check out the MS Mezzo and Aviano speaks if they're to your liking.

Yep. Those MSs sound good with CA gears. You might also want to check out PSB Image B6 if you love more warm sounding vocals. Though I find the Mezzo a better match for CA.

i noticed that you use polk. rti 1 sounds good too.

if i had a 40 watter most likely i'll go for the mezzo 1, monitor audio rx1, polk rti1.

also, try guru raz's recommendation. i completely trust guru raz's (beginner) ears....they are always clean

How did you hook up your TT? Is it through 640P going to 550A? How's the sonic characteristic when hooked up this way? Thanks! Just curious.

yes, ttable to phono stage to aux input 550a.

sounds good

no hums or noise.....clean.

if your ttable has a built in interconnect then you'll only need a pair, 540/640p to aux input 550a, if not then two pairs, ttable to 540/640p to aux input 550a. remember, some ttables have ground wires and some none. if none then you'll need an interconnect with a ground wire, ttable to phono stage. tighten and seat the ground connections well(ttable & phono stage).

Heard the mezzos again last Saturday. It was paired with a 640c/840a combo. Boy do they sing well with CA gears talaga! Anyone interested in getting a slightly used Image B6?

And the audio journey goes on...

The Mezzo2 is, by far, the best I have heard with CA gears. I haven't heard the 350c/550a + Mezzo combo yet but I'm assuming hinde nalalayo (or almost the same) ang tunog sa 550c/550a combo. The Mezzos put more emphasis on clean and crisp highs and mids. Di sya gaano sa bass region, pero tama lang para sa akin and with the necessary extension. And the details? Man oh man, you should listen to it. Ganda!

I'll definitely get a hold of those mezzos. Magsasangla muna ko ng mga gamit dito bahay...

Also, ngayon ko naaappreciate yung silver na mga CA. Parang nagsasawa na rin ako sa all-black. Haha!

540C lang yun Master.

Honestly, sana nga 650 combo or at least 550 or 640 combo.

considering entry level palang 550a, ganda na tumunog. maganda talaga ang ca sound. i will find it hard to get satisfied with other audio gears after owning a cambridge. or maybe spend much more only to find out that what i got was minimal improvement in sonic quality.

also, its much easier to upgrade....just get the higher models

. sometimes upgrading and changing brands can be side steps or even steps backwards

. hahaha.... 840a in sight.
