Matagal pa ba ang opening?
kahit ako naiinip na! yung amp di pa nga dumadating. it left NJ approximately 4.5weeks ago... oh well.
hindi problema ang big room sir mark. he now have a reason to buy more subs. QUAD na ba brader jake?
brader weng! huwag ka ganyan! sinabi nang huwag kukulamin ang mangkukulam! hahaha! pero lintek na braders von! tirso! alfie! at mike c! hindi ko na iimbitahan yang mga yan dito! pinagkaisahan ata akong kulamin eh! hahaha!
Huh? Expanded the room? By how many square meters?
Baka naman after the expansion, di na champion ang room ni Jake sa massage effect. The bigger the room, the less the massage. On the other hand, the overall sq should improve naman. :-)
sir mark, i thought about jumping immediately to the "bigger room" and the consequences it may bring so i did against it (for now). though i am changing the layout in preparation so that if i realize serious improvements - i will, and the room will be ready. i am also seriously considering midbass and will give it a shot - i know i will not be able to appreciate it until i try. if it improves overall, then i might just jump into the expansion.
in the expansion (which may mean just another 2x3m) the cons that came to my mind that i may encounter are:
1. need to compensate on bass, (using mike c's and your volume formula, i may need another pair of PB12s for "same" massage effect),
2. another pair of jbl L820s for rear speakers (7.1),
3. the addition of a power amp (for a bigger room/but maybe not).
however i find some priceless additions and pros that could be:
1. better viewing distance,
2. more seats (2nd row) = more room for fun and to enjoy.
i believe you know that your room was what inspired me to get to this stage of my home theater journey so hopefully you could visit. will see and maybe by mid april when i am done, i hope to see you back here to get your thoughts.
