Topic: DVD player that can play Divx HD at 720p

Sirs,
Where to find/buy DVD player that can play Divx HD at 720p.
Cause i have lots of movies converted to this resolution.
I know that media player can but the problem is the budget...
Nagtitipid muna. Kakabili lang ng 32" LCD TV eh!

The question is, do you really need to convert it to divx HD format? What im doing is, (depending on the quality of the source of mostly downloaded movies)  im converting it instead to mpeg 2 (DVD) and still get 586-720p on that format. Lot of conversion software out there that you can download (of course you need a crack..hehehe).

Super linaw sa pc. Wala pa me pang bili ng media player.
Kaya hanap muna ako ng DVD player can play divx HD at 720p.
Kahit siguro mga 7k. Pasok pa sa budget.

DVD players can only play formats up to 480p.  Your option is a media tank which can play HD formats up to 1080p.

By the way, I was able to get that 586-720p resolution because my dvd player was connected to Onkyo 605 via component input which is capable of upconverting standard resolution to 720p.

My converted movies resolution is 1252x524 divx format(avi) 4GB.
My old DVD player won't play this kind of resolution.
Yung mga dvd disc ko kasi pang display na lang eh!
Ayaw ko nang isalang baka magasgas lang. Hehehe.
Wala pa kasi ako nakikitang Dual layer na RW eh!
Yung divx ko 4GB lang. Sakto sa DVDRW.

Even the best-selling upconverting DVD player like OPPO 983 cannot play files encoded to 720p and beyond.. This is the reason I also got a media tank to be able to play HD downloads..
