Sa Quezon City ako. Marami nga ganyan sa P.O. natin. Mga taga Customs ang nanghaharang. Basta ang alam ko, ang taxable lang nila ay mga packages na worth $50 up. Baka naman dinedeclare ng kinukuhanan mo abroad ng more than $50, kaya ka nila tinataxan. Kakagaling ko lang ng P.O., nakuha ko na ung Predator at Pulp fiction, I just paid P35 kasi isang box lang. Tapos, nandun na din yung batman begins, kinuha ko na din, additional na P35 uli, kasi different package na.

sa play-asia ako naorder, actually wala pang $50 kaso kung ano ano alibis nila eh :'(

Try ko kumuha nung department order nila na ang taxable lang nila e yung mga items na naka-declare na $50 above. Dati ko pa gusto kumuha nun, nung time na naka address packages ko sa Novaliches P.O., kasi nung duon naka address mga packages ko, hinaharang din. Same sa Pasig P.O. Pag nakakuha ako, bigyan ko kayo copy.

nadala na ako! i have 1 dented steelbook which i got when ordered and another one trashed by my kid :'( tapos nito ayoko na.

Its all part of the risk. My recent purchase, apocalypto, got it for £7 shipped, tapos, second hand, may dent. Kaya pala mura. At least yung dent nya sa gilid, di kita sa harap. Kaya, I learned my lesson na not to buy second hand steelbook sa ebay. So far, almost 90% of my ebay purchases, matitino naman lahat at walang dent.

wala pa naman ako steelbook na nagka-dent or na-damage while in my possession. i take quite good care of my collection, especially the steels.

ang kinakatakutan ko ay yung mga nagkaka-dent or damage during shipping or yung meron na talaga right from the start pero pinapalabas ng seller na na-damage during transit. But it's a risk i am willing to take, as 80%-90% of my steels naman arrive in superb condition.

My newest steels, in addition to the Star Wars Clone Wars Blu-Ray Netherlands exclusive, are Rambo 4 and Elizabeth/Elizabeth II: The Golden Age/The Other Boleyn Girl. I have been searching for the latter for the looongest time, so I am very very happy to finally find a new and sealed copy in pristine condition at a reasonable price in ebay.

Will post pics as soon as I get my camera fixed.

4yrs in Steelbook Collection and not a single one got a Ding or a Dent.

I think it depends on the owner's ability to take care of his/her collection.

In my opinion,

"Fear of Dents" falls more under "Spenditure Excuse" if steelbooks were aquired via First Hand Direct Buying from Stores.

"Fear of Dents" falls more under "Collector's Dillema" if steelbooks were aquired via Air/Ground Shipment from an international or out of town source.

Happened to me twice, hence the phobia. Got Fight Club and Robocop 10th Anniversary Edition from Amazon and they were minor dents. I asked for replacements of the same item but the replacements still had minor dents, elsewhere.
