It's properly ventilated, about 6inches clearance.
Max volume when watching or listening is 65.
And yes, I did not get the CDRKing brand AVR! hehehe..
I bought a P450 3.5" HDD Enclosure from them, after 1 week, not working na..

Poor ventilation lang naman, Higher volume will heat up your amp so pag pangit ventation sosobra ang init. But im sure your Onkyo has a protection circuitry. Pero ako for peace of mind pinatungan ko nang small PC fan to suck the heat out... Madami din gumagawa nun dito so talagang di sya umiinit even at high volume... And syempre para din magtagal ang buhay nang amp natin, you know what heat can do naman di ba..Just for added safety and wala naman mawawala. I've been playing music on the A3 with the sub off too ... well actually I set the SW to auto and it does not turn on unless I set the receiver to non-stereo. Sounds good to me ... I can only imagine what A7 or A9 would sound like.

Exactly... tomorrow im going to sir AVSHOP..to settle some unfinish business and maririnig ko silang kumanta(a7 and a9)...I'm eying for the A7 for music in the near future he he he...

Siguro A6 yung "unfinished business" na yan. I was talking to James the other day and they have a black A6 with my name on it

... hay naku. The truth is I'm a bit frustrated because I was too late to get the Sony CD player posted in the Marketplace section ... and I bought 8 new CDs no less during my lunch break

. Mabuti na lang "relax" music yung binili ko

Ang ganda nga nung CD player na yun.. I also wanted to have a good CD player din.. pero saka na yun...

K lang yun Bro. There'll be a next time. For now, I'll just rip my new CDs into the XTreamer. Honestly, I'm not convinced there is a real difference between music from an NMT and a dedicated CD player. For me the Sony looked pretty cool and I'm curious to see this difference everyone talks about for myself ... not that I'd be a better judge actually. To be fair, I read awhile ago that not all rips are equal. Some rips are actually "faulty" but this is operator error IMHO more than an inferiority of technology.

I think kapag walang compression ang pagkakarip halos wala or konti lang ang deperensya when it comes to quality

Ganda makinig ng lossless audio sa RTi A3. I set it to large speakers. Changed na din my NMT from Xtreamer Mk1 to Kaiboer 130i. Galing ng Raw output niya. Claro.

Wow kayo ba sir yun? Yung may kasama?? Sayang sana pala nagkakilala tayo, i was about to go home kaso nag yosi muna before umalis kaya nasa labas lang ako...

Nag audition lang sir nang A7 at A9.. Plus nag check din ako rack plus availability nang C6 kasi yun ang bibilhin ko hopefully pag nabenta yung AVR ko.

Anyway comparison of A7 and A9... A9 clearly the winner... Sobrang noticeable ang difference nang dalawa... Ang ganda nang soundstage nang A9. Before i go there i was thinking na baka bass lang ang difference nang dalawa but i was wrong...

ANG GANDA NANG A9...

Hindi pa... pag nabenta na yung AVR ko...A9 and A7.... A9 wins unang few seconds pa lang nang kanta dinig na dinig mo na deperensya nang dalawa habang nag siswitch si James nang speakers... Galing nang A9 bro at ang LAKI nya he he he

Yup, for me sa mids ang very noticeable difference nila (dun pa naman tayo pinaka-sensitive). Sa lows pareho naman silang malalim, and yung highs pareho namang crisp and detailed (minor improvements lang in these departments).

Go na sa A9, Courage.

wow sir i envy you.. narinig mona ang a7 at a9.. actually nung pinaguusapan natin yung 2 yan a week ago.. sinusukat kona yung living room namin kung kakasya pa sya.. i think kasya naman sa living room.. ang hindi kaysa ay yung budget ko.. lol..

Brader, i'm telling you it's worth the pag iipon....When i'm finish with my HT, pagiipunan ko to.. Plan ko nga pag di nabenta HK ko, i will use it to power this baby. That's why i told brader louie na next week pag andito pa HK ko i'll bring it to AVSHOP para ma match ko...

hmm.. maganda suggestion to sir.. a7 or a9 fronts then a3 surround.. a6 for center..

.. ano ba mganda avr dito sa 2 top of the line ng rti sir?.. actually ala pako avr.. yun muna unahin ko.. hehe. ok na ba dito 608 or 708?.. or kelangan talaga mataas ang per channel wattage?..

oo nga sir.. mukhang kayang kaya idrive ng HK nyo un.. match na match siguro un..

Are you getting the A9 or A7? Paano yung A6?
Hehehe.. I'm sure at those prices, ok talaga yung 2. Pero, for the price difference between the A7 and A9, I would love to have the A9 as well. If only, I was staying at a bigger place already. I'm looking 2-3 years down the road. Would the A9 still be king or would there be a new RTi then? Hehehe.. For now, I am enjoying my RTI BS setup.

parang sayang naman gawing surrounds ang A3 unless you have a super big dedicated HT room. why dont you make either the A9/A7 or A3 your dedicated speakers for pure audio listening then retain the other one for HT setup. get na lng an A1 or FXi for surrounds.

future plan ko din yan sir na magkaron ng dedicated setup for pure audio just like most of here in pdvd.. pag mura na mga tubes at integrated amp siguro.. matutuloy na yan.. hehe.. for now.. HT muna.. pwede pa din gamitin sa audio yung HT na setup..

i suggested kasi nsasayangan na nga ako sa A1 ko for making it my surrounds because it can actually handle the duty of the main fronts plus its really really good in music. lalo na siguro ako manghihinayang kung A3 pa ang gawing kong pang likod if ever mag upgrade ako ng fronts. just saying this based on experience

Yup. Tama tong recommendation ni Sir pa3ck608.
I settled for OWM3s as surrounds and they're doing a great job naman so far.
And, mysteriously hidden in the upper corners of the room. Low ceiling lang sala namin e. 7ft. high lang.

But that would be a good upgrade path in the future..
Get an A9.. then use A3 as surrounds, then OWM 3 as rears..
Or use the A3 as LR with the 509 for audio only, then get a better amp for the A9, A6 and OWM3 surrounds. (",) Hehe..

Yup, it definitely is cheaper than the A1's. But they're surrounds. You don't need to spend that much, unless you're setting up a "theater" hehehehe...
