Rock of Ages (2012) -if Hairspray wasn't your cup of tea, director Adam Shankman takes another shot with Rock of Ages- a musical with an 80s soundtrack. Very powerful cast with Tom Cruise (Rockstar), Catherine Zeta-Jones, Alec Baldwin & Paul Giamatti. Definitely worth your while.

Ecstacy Of Order: The Tetris Master 2011

For fans (and even casual gamers) of the legendary Tetris - this is for all of us. That was some dramatic ending! For a name whom I never heard before watching this film/doc, he just became a legend to me.

Last night during my sleep, I think I had the so called "Tetris Efffect" right after watching this film/doc.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

The Cabin in the Woods - di ko siya pinapansin dati, pero now am a Horror Satire fanboy. HEHE.

I find it innovative that the reason the Horror movie character cliches happen is because an organization is controlling not only the kids behavior to make them cliche but controlling the order the way they die not for sinister reasons, but to save mankind.

Although the saving mankind thing, can be compared to what Mortal Kombat did, but instead of sacrifices, they FIGHT in a tournament.

I am Legend (theatrical and alternate cuts) - both endings are good, I like the "happy" ending better (though most people liked the "sad" ending better daw.)

Boy Wonder (2010)-a story of a boy who witnessed the murder of his mother. He hones his fighting skills while looking for his mother's murderer. He also tries to be an undercover city superhero defending the oppressed. If you expect a superhero movie, this is not the one. Dark psychological thriller is more appropriate. Definitely not Batman's Robin.

The Incredible Hulk (2008)- after watching The Avengers, I just had this urge to watch the individual characters' movies again thus this repeat viewing. The Avengers Banner (Ruffalo) is trying hard to be mild mannered and soft spoken sometimes to the point of overacting while the Banner here (Norton) just exercises self control when the need arises. It just boggles me why does the pants stay after Banner becomes the gigantic HULK. It must have an ultra stretchable thread.
