I think it's firmware na, just like my minor problems that i posted here. my other nmt doesn't display the issues I stated. hopefully it can all be fixed with the new FW that egreat will be releasing.

Guys, yun last playback feature, kelan lang ba nawawala yun? Minsan napansin ko kahit fully off na yun unit, pag on and playback ko ng same movie, na-remember yun time where i stopped it. It's a pretty cool feature though and I just wanted to know yun consistency nun kelan lang meron at mawala.

Sir Jim.. sabik na kami sa firmware update.. sana dumating na soon

I think that's the Automatic bookmark function.. I just don't know how many movies the R200 can remember..Last time i checked 2 movies na remember nya kung san ako last na nag stop..

He he he.. sana nga...Lagyan sana nila nang minor improvements. Masyadong maiksi yung selection nang movie titles so antayin mo pang mag scroll minsan..

Egreat has rehauled its look into what they call the new UI - Red Times.

The UI started with the SigmaDesigns chip (S100,S800, S900, S7A) and recently showing in the Realtek 1185 (R1-ii, R180-ii, R200-ii).

For segmentation:
R1-ii (all external, similar to the S100 enclosure)
R180-ii (a 3.5" internal SATA + bare sata)
R200-ii (will be available on order basis only, given features are same for R180 and R200, but the R200-ii has a higher price tag, so id advise R180-ii)

This is bad.. imbes na firmware upgrade lang inaantay ko.. mukhang magiging unit upgrade ah

Sir Jim, let us know na agad if hindi na mababago yun GUI ng R200Pro.. para alam ko na if bebenta ko na at papalitan ng R180-ii! Pero still looking forward to that firmware update to fix some minor bugs lang.

P.S. Mukha ng wireless router yun R180 with its dual antenna! hehe!

Bro, i think they are working on the core HD audio .
I tried to fish on the UI, if its going to happen for 1073, they said not likely but I continue to bug and tease them that R200 deserves a Red Times UI given its a popular model.

Yup it should. I have tons of files without SRT pero may subtitle embedded ibat ibang sub pa. From Framestore ba yung file mo sir..

Same here...even with out a separate srt file, as long may embedded sya, the sub will can be accessed.

X3... but I noticed that some movies doesn't have embedded subtitles but it doesn't matter coz I always turn on the subtitle feature when watching movies.

I have a hard time tweaking the PQ of R200 and the TV itself(LG LD460). Can you guys give me some samples of your PQ settings on both your TV and R200? There are movies kase na sobrang liwanag on outside/sunshine scenes na almost di kita yung ibang images.tia.

yung megamind bro yung mga outside scenes yung mukha nung reporter medyo maliwanag eh.at yung black hawk down naman yung mga night scenes naman parang di mo na makita yung parts sa side nung TV, slightly madilim na talaga. i have my fixed settings for all movies kaya pag binago mo sila for that certain movie(megamind and BHD) eh affected naman PQ ng lahat.

settings ko sa TV:
50 brightness
85 contrast
50 backlight

R200:
21 brightness
41 contrast

May I know you settings bro para subukan ko gayahin. thanks.

Brader.. ibat iba talaga encoding nang MKV's merong MKV's na madilim pagkaka encode compared to it's Blue Ray counter part...I have a Last of the Mohicans MKV that's really dark.. i play mo kahit sa PC, sa Egreat at sa Popcornhour ko renders same result.. Tero yung DVD ko naman with same title eh maganda ang contrast at brightness.. Dont know about the BD...

they're not from Framestore. they're from Vertiggo. the subs are fine with VLC media player though.

so i look it up in the net... seems that theses subs are what you called PGS Subs and they're not supported by our player.. good thing .SRT files are easy to find.

Files that doesn't send their core couterpart are M2TS and BD iso. Yung MKV na encoded with DTS MA walang problema. E-mail me the torrent link... i wanted to test it..
