I cant recall the last time that UST made a big comeback against a highly-seeded opponent.

the last one i recall was their comeback win against la salle in 2007. they were down by twelve points with 1:40 (IIRC) left in the game.

DLSU will need to rethink its system, coaching staff and overall management. On paper, they have more than it takes to place higher than they are now. This year is definitely one to forget for the archers.

Congrats to UST, big win against FEU.

They lost only once in the second round of Season 74 and showed everyone the versatility of their roster.

If Adamson loses this weekend, quotient system na for ranks 2 to 4.

actually, may playoff pa for the 2nd spot if ever UST wins and ADU loses this Sunday.. FEU will drop to 4th if that happens tapos UST and Adamson will fight for the 2nd spot and twice-to-beat advantage..

and The Ateneo finally loses 46-62.. this is going to be interesting if they meet again in the Finals.. malas yung number 4 kasi gigil yung Ateneo.. UST just has to win to have a better chance at advancing to the Finals.. an Ateneo-FEU match-up in the final 4 is good as well.. baka maka-upset pa..

Didn't catch the game earlier, but Ateneo's loss made the post-season more interesting. What happens if UST and FEU end up tied after the final elimination games tomorrow? Will they have another game to determine who should be seeded third? Or will they just apply the quotient system?

quotient lang.. a UST win assures them of 3rd even if FEU wins.. wala rin yata si Abdul bukas for UST because of a suspension.. 2 unsportsmanlike fouls.. so that's more pressure on them against NU..

This is what I have been saying even before the start of the season, that Ateneo is not invincible. Their lack of go-to guys at crucial moments of the game was very evident. Ravena had difficulty driving to the basket due to the good individual and switching defense of Adamson. Slaughter's lack of agility and tendency to be frustrated affected his game. Salva, imho, is the weakest power forward of all the teams. He was simply manhandled by the big men of Adamson. Long is not really that consistent in offense. And Monfort was made ineffective by the referees' calls on him. This is where Buenafe and Dela Cruz's offense could have helped the team.

Defense wins championships, yes, but not if you can't score either!
