Sir gar, sometimes the picture goes blank but the sound is still there. Tapos you can't press stop or return, you can only press power on the remote to reset the unit. It doesn't happen often mga twice pa Lang nangyari. Then there's also the issue of the unit going on idle when you turn it on there's no picture and the tv won't detect the connection. I have to turn it off and on a few times. Will the new FW fix these issues?

Di naman sila that big a deal just reporting some issues to be fixed with FW updates. Thanks

x6 user here too.. di ko sure yong firmware ko kung kailangan i upgrade...

pabili po ng dongle nito wala na mabilihan sa cdr king.. paki pm na lang .. thanks..

FW Ver 3.30 for E8HDL + X6 is fixed partly the transmissions torrent (albeit cant custom set the storage as of this version)

ngayon sa dami pa ng movies tinatamad naman ako magDL lalo na naging 1mbps ulit connection ko

haven't got any problem with the 2.05 so i will stay with it muna

make friends, get a dual dock with cloning support and skip downloading entirely

if it powers down at fw 2.05, and you power off gracefully without anything playing( press stop first before power off), I dont think may issue.

Seems sa X6, check disk is prompted only if power off is hit while on play.

Nagkaka problema ako sa E8HDL FW v3.05. Pag iniwan ko para mag download, nawawala ang picture sa screen. Wala din display. Parang nagha hang yung unit. Kailangan off ko muna yung unit para magamit ko. Paano ko ibabalik sa v2.05? Wala na sa website e.

3.05 is sill more mature over 2.05 so check mo torrent if you can lower the upload to 10kbps, sometimes unit works too hard when downloading while torrent upload is set to a higher value. if the version can throttle upload bandwidth, it will free up resources that can help explain the display/picture sa screen that seems to hang.

anyone tried to connect external dvd drive on measy x6?

ive connected it fine it detects it but when playing my working dvds it does read it

dvd drive works ok

@toys - i think it worked. so far, hindi pa nagha hang yung unit ko. problema ko na lang, meron mga mkv and avi files na bigla na lang humihinto while viewing. when i view them in my home theater with built-in DivX player, ayos naman.

you know whats weird, i am getting similar mkv and avi concerns so not sure if its the files we're getting in recently. with a lot of source and groups out there, i usually stick with those ones that work with an HD player known.

All firmwares develop over time, so i go back to my trusted 1073 HD player (dont ask the brand)and it works. The Measy FW 3.05 is much better than the old one still, but do send them all your reported file problems via email and lets hope they can find a fix.

@toys - i spoke too soon. my unit still hangs.

I gave up sending emails to the Measy support. They don't answer.

Does your unit hang everytime you use it? All files/movie hang?

DO you to revert to FW 2.05? If so, I'll send the link in your email.

My unit hangs when I leave it to download movies. It does not hang when I watch a movie.

My E8HDL is at FW 3.05 and just now I tested a Movie "All Star Superman 1080P DTS 6CH. Works fine with me. HDMI RAW out to LCD. Also does a SPDIF RAW out to my JVC Receiver. Both works and sounds Great.
