From my early impressions, compared to the Hafler DH-220 it is much more detailed and has wider soundstage. Don't know how to put in English but - mas manipis ng konti tumunog. And, the base of the Technics is much more distinct. I also think is sounds more analog when used on my CDPs - I have a Sony CDP-301V, 228ESD and X333ES.

Malapit lapit na yan sa SU-V10.. :D
How is it compare to your Sansui AU-907F?
Of all your SS integrated amps itong 907F ang
pinaka gusto ku ung tunog.. ;)

Na-test mo na ba ung SU-V9 sa Diatone DS-22BR
or dun sa Sony speaker?

Gutchy,

Oo. 4K lang bigay sa akin ni Manang. May nag offer din sa akin ng Sansui AU-X1 (taga South). Medyo nahirapan akong mag desisyon. Ang naging basehan ko na lang ay dahil may 907F ako at siguro naman hindi nalalayo ang tunog kaya pinatulan ko na iyung Technics. Anyway, kahit anong oras puwede naman ako bumisita sa Antipolo at makinig ng 907F. Medyo malayo pa ako sa SU-V10 pero kapag may lumabas noon susunggabin ko na  ;D

May malambing lang ng konti Sansui pero mas maganda ang base at soundstage ng Technics. Mas malalaman ko kapag bisita ko uli sa Antipolo. From stack knowledge lang kasi basehan ko sa Sansui.

Hindi ko pa na test sa Diatone, sa Sony speakers pa lang. Dalhin ko from Antipolo next week para ma burn-in iyung Diatone dito  ;D Buti ni-remind mo ako ...

May isa pang magandang ampli nga dun sa may dulo kung saan mo nakuha iyung Sony La Voce speakers - Gold na Sony TA-VA8ES. Pinahirapan din ako nito sa pag-iisip at gusto ko rin ng home theater.

Nga pala, binenta ko na lang pabalik sa dating may ari iyung Hafler DH-220 kaya nagkaroon ako ng pambili ng 2 Sony CDP at ampli.

sirs,

ok po kaya itong technics su co4 integrated amplifier with technics st co4 quartz synthesizer tuner for 2000 pesos. Info from the internet it is made in 1980 to 1982. 30 watts per channel. medyo makinis pa. I will use it for home listening lang po. ok kaya ito sa cd playing kasi it is made before cd? I am also interested kasi may phono in i am planning to buy a turntable. maganda ung tunog when they test it in the store.

It doesn't matter when CD was made if you're using analog connections.  

Vintage amps are just as good if not better than many amps today.   Technics is a well known high fidelity brand and this one was among their so-called "new class A" amps back then.  Provided the parts are original, get it. But that's the risk, you won't know it.

meron pala thread ng mga vintage amps dito, pa-share lang po.. ;D
we just got a sansui AU-D707 sa pier last october, and all i can say is
sulit na sulit yung amp, transformer pa lang at capacitors,ang bigat ng amp.
mga 30 KG siguro,.lalo nung tumunog na  :o 8) ;D,in short,its a great buy,
it is now paired with an my existing Lo-D EQ.

parang masarap nga po mag-collect ng mga vintage amps.
kaya lang parang konti na nagtitinda sa pier, 3 or 4 stores na lang yata ang nagtitinda ng surplus amps.
meron pa po ba iba maganda puntahan if i want to hunt for some killer amp? ??? ???

this is what i mean by "fad cycle" the two units are almost identical, i would even bet that they used the same semiconductors...... ;D

...somebody from pdvd sold his NEC A-10X amp. and most probably the guy who bought it is our member..sir, share naman ng review sa amp.. we know that its a very rare amp. at walang pagasa na makakita ulit ng ganyan..congrats. TIA.

2. Luxman LV-105- 105 WPC (6 Ohms)
3. Marantz PM-74D- (la sa audio-heritage site e yung model na to e :))
4. Sansui alpha 607DR- 90 WPC
5. Denon PMA-701- 70 WPC
6. Sony ES-333 ESXII- 105 WPC

I got a victor a-x1000 as seen on the following site;

Ganda sana kung ma-repair agad iyung Sansui para makumpara ng mas maigi iyung dalawa. Meron din kasi akong Sansui AU-D907. Iyung sa akin ay AU-D907F. Hindi naman siguro nagkakalayo and limited at ang "F" version.

D naman siguro, o d ko mahuhuli pagkakaiba nila pag napakingan ko :) Yung internal niya, mas kapareho nang Limited yung AU-D907, pagkakaiba nila sa AU-D907 e copper chassis na katulad ng AU-D907F.

Yung AU-D907 at limited  e hindi ko nga naririnig ang pagkakaiba ng kinukumpara ko. Magkaiba pa ang transistors ng dalawang to a. Baka todong paglilinis ang tenga para marinig diperensya.hehehe

actually, mahirap talaga or di mo maririnig and difference especially if you are to compare them  on flat eq.(bass/treble defeat mode, loudness off) using same speaker and source material/player, because amps are supposedly designed neutral, designed with the objective of ruler flat 0 db freq. response.Flavorings na lan ung loudness,bass,treble settings. Also, iba iba rin ang freq response ng mga listener based sa study ni Dr Fletcher-Munsen  Curve...wag ka mag alala, maraming ganyan., di ka nag iisa.baka ung iba sabi lan may nadedetect na difference, pero wala tlaga deep inside ;D.ung iba, golden ear daw tawag...ewan ko lan...kung matiyaga ka, subukan mo magpa blindtest sa mga audio friends mo.
importante, maganda source material mo bago mo maenjoy music.
always clean your ears and as suggested ng iba, have the earwax removed clinically (once a yr?).
