got mine from Anson's C&C last 12-Jan at a better price... (sorry, vic =D) and damn, am so satisfied. should have gotten the lm7600 series for the aesthetics/240hz, though only 47-in did (or didn't?) come out here and I have a limited budget. features/PQ-wise, I won't regret this one. I'm a +6-yr LG LCDTV user and I upgraded only just now.
same here, it can do just everything i need. i really liked the 3d conversion but if you are after more depth & 3d realism, better watch the 3d format ones. I also liked its SOP effect! 120hz is okay w/ me. i can stream movies/music from my pc/laptop/tab using my tp-lynksys wireless router without a glitch. i installed the plex. built-in media player a 2-par low since I'm used to my +3yr old ever-reliable xtreamer mk1, this is the best media player for me... =)
some observations at my end:
* comfortable 3d glasses - bagay sakin... LOL!
* black level is okay with me, i don't know how to rate this technically/expertly but by dark scenes/articles on movies, dark scenes are dark (not just gray). perhaps, it could be done by calibrating the tv
* i don't have backlight bleeds. maybe you'll notice that upon turning the tv set on, but I still find it consistent. i find black bars on top/bottom as black - not grayed
* sounds from thin leds are understandable... i use an AVR for my satisfaction... so no issue for me. same use for the built-in audio for tv viewing only
* can watch comfortably during the day even when there's sunlight is at the side -- our window's about <4-ft away and during Dec-Feb direct afternoon sun comes in but only from 1-3PM, we just set the ecomode to minimum and we're fine
* tried back some 720p/1080p where dark scenes pixelates in my old LCDTV but never on this one
next thing to try though is bluetooth headset, has any one been successful yet?
btw, most dl-able 3d materials nowadays has 4K/2K(1K) resolution and they cannot be played directly on this set... I wonder how 3d players can read such formats? does it downscale it? 4K tv's are but just a dream!
