Last season, Knicks belong to the top 10 teams in defensive efficiency (pts allowed per 100 possessions ) so MDA not coaching defense is inaccurate. Ot was it because of his assistant coach then Mike Woodson who is now the current coach.

At any rate, I'm sure Lakers management is aware and will get a defensive assistant coach. Heard that Nate Mcmillan might get the job.

Exciting times for the Lakers.

Lakers and PJ are essentially over. It will be a whole season of he said-she said scenario.

I wouldnt be surprised if Del Negro falters in handling the Clippers, that PhilJax will take a powerful position with the Clippers, resigning CP3, and sticking it against the Lakers.
