I'm torn with a rumored Gasol for Josh Smith trade. Gasol is the only legit back to the basket guy not named Kobe in LAker land; but Smith is a sure fit in D'Antoni's system ala Amare but with defense. Plus, Smith is a good friend with Dwight and I can just imagine the fear in opposing players eyes when they see D12 and Smith together defending the paint.
Bad deal for Hawk. IMO
Getting ready for his debut tomorrow vs Houston. Good luck. It'll be shown live tomorrow at BTV
No D'Antoni tonight vs. The Rockets,...That's according to the Lakers channel,...
Sixers just got the raw end of the deal with the D12 trade. Bynum couldn't even play until January. The kid is already damaged goods and no team would offer a max contract to him after this season which is his final year. Is it possible that the Lakers know something that the other teams did not? Only time will tell.
may excuse ulit ang LA pag natalo
Lakers are up 40-29Great plays, relax na relax ang plays ng Lakers,...
what a pass by MWP to end the 1st quarter
Again, it's the D'Antoni system in full implementation. All offense, no defense. haha
I'd say the "No Defense" of D'Antoni is a misnomer based on stats. http://www.basketball-reference.com/teams/PHO/2007.htmlPhoenix Suns in 2006-2007 was 13th of 30 teams in terms of Defensive Efficiency so they're high middle of the pack. And they don't have a Dwight Howard then!So just a little tweaking here and there on defense and lakers will be okay.
