Lakers new rotation:  http://www.nba.com/lakers/news/121219_newrotation

Starters: Nash, Jodie Meeks, Kobe Bryant, Pau Gasol, Dwight Howard
Subs: Chris Duhon, Darius Morris, Metta World Peace

tingin ko sa 4qtr bench starter are duhon, morris, MWP, Hill/Jamison, Pau

sana gumana na yan para sure na sa playoff :)

ganda nang D ng lakers kahapon nong mga last secs :D

Go LAL!!!!!

hindi nga kasali si Jamson and Hill sa rotation kaya any combination with them will not happen. 8-man rotation. Good luck sa tuhod nila Kobe, Nash and Gasol.

Me too, lalo na sa Playoffs, for the reason that I want DWade to scorch him up, since people was Hyping him up as a Wade stopper along with Boston's Avery Bradley last season. ^_^

Amare to LA Gasol to NY seemed to be a fair trade for both teams.
NY will be a much better team with Gasol's post presence while the Lakers can be more comfortable running the D'Antoni system with Amare and Nash teaming up together again.

i agree its good for Knicks, but for Lal? Defense is what they need right now.. If bulls will let go of Gibson or josh smith by Atl, Lal will be dominant again..

D'Antoni system never puts premium in defense but just to outscore opponents with swift transition baskets.

Nice comeback win for the Lakers against powerhouse Golden State....on the road pa!. Steve Nash delivers the game winner in OT. Howard was a non factor with foul trouble the entire night. Their bench delivered with 46 points. Metta was huge once again.

Great come from behind win by LA over GS in OT, 118-115.    Steve Nash had some very crucial baskets in the end game.  Good comeback game from Stevie with 12 pts and 8 assists.  It was actually a brick game by Kobe with 14 of 37 shots but he managed a double double, 34 pts and 10 rebounds.

Can't beat LA in a high scoring game ;D

Next up :  NYK, again >:(

Howard had some defensive brilliance towards the end game, making Curry miss some baskets.  And he did convert two (2) crucial FTs in crunch time!!

Kobe just took 41 shots vs the Warriors in an OT win, 118-115.. He had 34pts on 16/41 shooting.. 41 freakin' attempts! Terrible defense in the 2nd and 3rd quarters and Kobe going trigger happy. The Lakers should have lost that game.

They really needed Nash. They have better spacing with Nash handling the ball. People move around and go to their spots. Hindi stagnant like when Kobe has it. Blessing in disguise rin yung foul trouble ni Dwight. Jordan Hill was excellent tonight. And good decision by D'Antoni to keep Gasol at crunch time. He had those 2 crucial dimes when the lead went back up to 7.

Jarrett Jack was awesome for GS, making 29 points and 11 assists and engaging Kobe in a shootfest.  Galing!!

That was one great, enjoyable game between the GSW & the LAL.

High-scoring both ways ...... just unfortunate for GS that LA got hot when it mattered.

Like I said, LAL will be a different team when Nash get's back ..... and Nash sure came back with a bang.

For LAL's sake, let's hope that Nash stays healthy this season.

Kobe had 41 attempts, making 34 pts WITHOUT A SINGLE FREE THROW!  Wow.   In fact, he posted only the second game since 1985 in which a player took 40 or more shots without making a single free throw (Hakeem Olajuwon in 1997 was the other).

I don't find the 34pts in 41 attempts with no FTs made impressive. It's a terrible stat, for me. What I find impressive, though, is that, in a fast paced game and with the minutes he played, Kobe still had the energy to hit the big shots down the stretch. 16 years and all that mileage on his body yet he didn't look tired or burnt out down the stretch in that game.

by the way, anyone else notice this guy rocking that Ateneo jersey during the game? He was going to show it off but realized he wasn't wearing an NBA jersey.. ;D

Disgusting how.kobe took 41 shot attempts. Is he so hell bent on overtaking Jordan on the all-time scoring list that he'll sacrifice team chemistry just to get there?

As a huge Lakers fan, I do not support Kobe basketball. Maybe his new monicker should be the Black Hole, not Black Mamba

Nash's return somehow changed the Lakers game for the better but can he sustain that energy all thru out the regular season and then into the playoffs by avoiding those injuries?

In a team where his job is to shoot, thats what he will do, michael jordan was the same way.  Although it can be argued that there many able scorers in this LA team, this is still Kobe's franchise till he retires and he will continue to shoot the way he always has.  Michael once took 52 shots in a game and even Charles Barkley was surprised because of the number of attempts, but thats just how it is when you are the face of the franchise.

Kobe scoring only 34pts in 41 attempts is a terrible stat.  If you're going to jack up that many shots, at least make half of them. If your attempts is higher than your points, then that's horrible.   ;D  That's not even a point per attempt.

With the Bulls, MJ's highest FGAs was 49.  But at least he made 27 shots.  With the Wizards where he was already past his prime, his highest FGAs was 38 making 21 shots.
