http://sports.yahoo.com/news/nba--nba-trade-deadline-buzz--clippers-end-kevin-garnett-trade-talks-for-now-030112108.html;_ylt=AhPNK_pigAcHYVl2DRsW_J.8vLYF;_ylu=X3oDMTN1aG4yNmluBG1pdANGRUFUVVJFRCBNZWdhdHJvbiBOQkEEcGtnAzdmMzBiZmI5LTQxNzgtMzBkYS05NTkwLTZjZDg5YjVjNWUwNwRwb3MDMQRzZWMDbWVnYXRyb24EdmVyAzc0ODZhNjQzLTdiMTQtMTFlMi1hZGZkLWE1MmU1MzdjYmFjMQ--;_ylg=X3oDMTFoNjVvZWVyBGludGwDdXMEbGFuZwNlbi11cwRwc3RhaWQDBHBzdGNhdANuYmEEcHQDc2VjdGlvbnM-;_ylv=3

if it aint broke, why fix it?

baka parang si Howard pag kinuha ng clips si KG, magkanda-lokoloko hehehe

celtics are trying to rebuild and get young talent while KG still has value. not that KG is invaluable but deandre jordan and eric bledsoe will be a big help for the celtics.

plus KG will do wonders with the clippers with his veteran leadership. he could also mentor blake griffin. this move would make CP3 sign with them more of a reality.

^ agree. I doubt though that a trade involving DeAndre Jordan, while the Clippers aren't exactly struggling would sit well with Clippers Fans. Been to some games at Staples, and the crowd seems to have alot of Love for DeAndre.

trading Jordan to KG is a bad deal imho for the clippers. Jordan actually plays well with Blake and CP3 and is a decent big man.

here's a theory for fun, all the NBA teams have connived to deny the Lakers an entry to the 8th spot. Utah and Houston have been allowed by all teams to win just to ensure the Lakers don't make it to the 8th spot.

Can't the Lakers catch a break? Come on Houston and Utah, drop a few games, will ya?!?

also, anyone who takes this post seriously will have inverted hard ons. haha

Sorry hasn't been updated lately.  What's up with GSW?  Internal problems?  They just won earlier right?

Lakers now in 9th spot but still 3 games behind HOU.

I think though what would be interesting is the rankings of the east. with Miami NY and Indiana on top, and right now, chicago on 5 and boston on 7. definitely, the teams will play based on the standings. this early they are already thinking playoffs. no team has been on a mission to win the most games anyway.

hopefully, the lakers make the playoffs. it does make everything more interesting. there is still time if I were with the Lakers, id trade Metta World Peace, and fire the coach. The way they are playing id take my chances with Kobe as playing coach.  :)

Maybe true for the Western teams.  They don't want to see the Lakers in the playoffs.  But for the East?  Hmmm, maybe they want LA to get 8th spot and upset potential WC Champs like OKC and SAS.

Boring trade deals :( http://www.cbssports.com/nba/transactions/trades

The best move for me is Boston Celtics getting G Jordan Crawford from Washington for Barbosa and Jason Collins.

It's a good patch up move now that Rondo is out.

"With so many injuries to the Celtics' backcourt (Rajon Rondo, Barbosa), Boston could really use some scoring punch in the backcourt and a guard who can handle the ball. Crawford is technically that type of player. He's having the best season of his short career, averaging 13.2 points, 3.7 assists and 3.1 rebounds. He's shooting just 41.5 percent from the field and only 34.5 percent from the 3-point line, but both of those numbers are career highs."

Lakers will keep current roster and fight it out tlll the end ;D

Not too familiar with Thomas Robinson's capabilities, but the Rockets seem pretty high on him and were willing to deal away the tag team at PF of Patterson and Morris to get him. A somewhat risky move from a chemistry/rotation perspective at this stage IMO, as they try to lock up a playoff berth. But I guess it's ultimately all on James Harden. Getting him was really THE trade of the season.

LAKERS wins over BLAZERS in a game where the BLAZERS gets absolutely jobbed by the referees.

So many blatant calls/non-calls, all against the BLAZERS ...... the last 2 minutes alone saw VERY CLEAR fouls committed by the Howard, World Peace & Kobe - yet not one foul called against the LAKERS.

Kobe hacked Lillard on the top of the head, in front of a referee ...... still no foul called.

It was like I was watching that LAKERS-KINGS playoff game years ago.  :o

Jarett Jack =  6th man of the year

@ESPNStatsInfo: Jarrett Jack: 1st player with at least 30 points, 10 assists off bench in game since Magic Johnson in 1996!

Attitude perhaps? Same deal with Crawford of the Clippers. Very prolific scorer off the bench but has been with a LOT of teams already.

Jack's a good guy.

Ex:
Quote
Jarrett Jack surveyed the locker room to figure out which of his teammates wouldn't have family in town last month, invited them to his place for a Christmas meal and asked his mom to prepare a feast.

He even provided Tupperware for leftovers.

"We look out for one another," the Warriors' backup point guard said. "We've got genuine love and like for each other.

"When you have one of your friends or somebody you feel like you're close to out there on the court, you're going to go that extra mile. You're going to play a little bit harder.
"

http://www.sfgate.com/warriors/article/Warriors-success-built-on-camaraderie-4177891.php

As for the reason why he gets traded a lot, maybe it's because of his contract. The league has been loaded with a lot of promising young PG's in the past few years that it rarely makes sense for a team to pay a back-up PG a mid-level type contract. Pareho sila ng sitwasyon ni Ramon Sessions...
